Easy to use, easy to clean. Nice little gadget. I do suspect the little clamps will wear out over time and I'll eventually dump a whole pot of pasta into the sink when it does. But for the price, it works fine!

Drainability: Easy hook up to a medium sized pot. Drains wells with no spillage of the food. Capacity: I'm using it for single box of mac and cheese or serving size for 2 of different types of noodles. Seems like it would work for a little bit larger quantities. Grip: Attaches easily and well. Use: It's a strainer - it works as it is supposed to. Color: I went with the blue one, I don't think the color really matters. Why did you pick this product vs others?: Good value for $10 - easy to use and throw in the dishwasher. Small enough to store in any drawer. Durability: Seems to be pretty well made.

I hate making food that requires a strainer. I have the stainless variety with holes in different sizes. I have screen mesh bowls in different sizes. I have the totally old-school variety that resembles a Cresent moon with holes in it and a handle to hold while one juggles the container being strained! OMGosh! My wrists aren't made for that!!! It doesn't get better with age or arthritis. This "Silicone Dream"??? ALL the others can go in the garbage & save my cabinet space!!! It's easy to clean & store it away! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! I even love orange! It makes it easy to see if something tries to slip out - NOPE! Easy to clamp onto smaller and bigger sized pots. I don't worry anymore about dropping dinner into the sink! Best purchase in a long time!!!! Very pleased. Super value & nice thickness for durability.

Not the miracle I wanted; I won’t be tossing my colander yet. Works ok-lot of water remains. Fit on 2 qt pot iffy. I put the gizmo on before I started heating the water as I was worried about burning my hand. I will try it again but not sold on it
