  • Precise and High Quality (Lasts through many coats and cleanings)
Size: 2 Inch
PROs: - precise - easy to clean - high quality — still in perfect shape even after multiple uses and cleanings CONs: - costly upfront (however, the brush is usable much longer than cheaper versions, saving money in the long run) The most precise brush I have used for cutting in. This brush seems to have more of a "tip" at the front/top that allows for paint to be applied more accurately and I have had less issues with dripping and paint runs as well. Of course, this brush doesn't magically infuse the user with masterful cutting-in skills :) but if you're already pretty decent, this brush will make for a really nice paint job. I used it to paint the frames of our kitchen cabinets (we used a paint sprayer for the doors) and I'm happy with how even the paint went on and that I was able to get into all the molding crevices pretty easily. Another huge plus for me is that even after a number of primer and paint coats (5 so far), and rinsing/cleaning the brush with water in between each, it has held up perfectly. I'm used to only getting maybe 1-3 decent coats out of a single paint brush (usually I buy Wooster brushes for around 5 dollars each) before I run into fraying or rogue bristles — so far, this brush is still like new after each cleaning. To me, that makes the price of around 12 dollars completely worth it — I'll be able to use this brush for much longer than the cheaper ones, saving money in the long run. ... show more

  • Perfection

  • Great brush
Size: 2-1/2 Inch
I got this brush after a friend recommended it. Great brush. Holds tons of paint and gives a good straight cut line. If you dip the brush in water before using it, the brush will clean up way easier. That's my tip of the day. Worth the $20

  • Must have for pro's paint arsenal!
Size: 2-1/2 Inch
In my opinion, this is the best brush on the planet. I have been a painting for a little over 30 years and must say there isn't a single thing this brush has failed to incorporate. Holds great amount of paint. Best cut in line as far as eliminating "pops". Clean up is a breeze. Didn't know if I would be able to get used to the round ferrel but after several hours of cutting in, I love the comfortable curve. ... show more

  • Pro painter- favorite brush
Size: 3 Inch
This is the most precise and efficient brush I have ever used. As good as Corona for half the price and half the life span, which I may be okay with. The long handle is okay but I would like a British handle. This brush is perfect for textured surfaces and exterior work. The bristles are firm and accurate because they hold their shape well while laying out the paint. Finish is excellent as well with little texture for firm bristles. This is an extremely heavy brush when loaded and will fatigue any amateur after an hour or so, so I only recommend for professionals who need to step up their game. Three weeks of Tammscoat Fine Adobe ... only lost a few bristles so far. Any other brush would have been thrown out after a week. This brush has been in perfect shape until I started using it for Tammscoat. Great buy! Wish I had bought two. Maybe I’ll get a box of these bad boys. ... show more

  • gave it a try didn't like it, too stiff and doesn't hold paint well ...
Size: 2-1/2 Inch
I'm a painter and also have worked in paint stores all my life, this brush is not at all satisfactory for any normal painters needs. gave it a try didn't like it, too stiff and doesn't hold paint well for being an oval brush.

  • Only used for a few moments
Size: 3 Inch
I don’t know why Amazon asks for a review the day after I receive a product! This one however, I did use this morning and I’m pretty impressed. While it’s heavier than my other, more expensive brushes, and still not broken in, it seems to work very well. Holds latex paint very well and has the bonus (for me anyway because I love a stiffer brush) of being the right stiffness for my tastes. Cleaned out as well my Purdy’s, and cut nice clean lines on some baseboard against laminate flooring. Because it’sa little heavier (which honestly I expected with an oval brush) it is perceptively more fatiguing, but not enough to warrant a complaint. ... show more
