This umbrella is a nice size umbrella for one person comfortably. It opens up in reverse from a compact design. The wet side stays inside and the button open feature is very convenient. It is only slightly larger than a tote mini automatic umbrella but larger when opened up by far. I've carried Totes umbrellas for decades, and after mine was stolen, I decided to try this reverse folding umbrella. Likes: 1. The auto open/close feature is something I've had for many years, but the reverse folding feature is a really great addition. 2. I'm not normally a flowers-type of person, but this is really pretty, and it's just right for carrying in the spring and summer. 3. Totes has a lifetime warranty, which, over the years, I've used. They charge a nominal fee for replacement, and, in general, they usually send a new one. It might not always be the same color and pattern, but I've always been happy with what they sent. This review is based on my very limited experience with this so far. So, if I start having any problems with it, I'll update. However, Totes is the only brand I'll buy because of their quality and because they stand by their lifetime guarantee. ... show more

Totes umbrella is always a go to reliable brand. one button opens up, one button push closes it with water side away so especially when getting into a car or on the bus, I don't get soaked trying to close it. only things is, on the website background color looks almost black so flowers kind of stand out in the picture but in person, backgound color is kind of brownish. but not enough to bother me. Great little umbrella that both opens and closes with the button. The umbrella inverts when closed so the rain doesn't dump onto you. A bit more expensive than some, but a well made umbrella that should last for years.

I like this umbrella because it was really pretty, but from day one when you push the button to open it, it would not work so I shook it a couple times and it worked . I kept thinking it would start working better the longer I kept it. And today was the last straw, while I was out with my dog trying to open and Bella I got wet because the umbrella would not open.
