  • Quality paint brush
Size: 1.5 Inch
One of my favorite paint brushes just a little pricey, about twice the money of the PX brushes and maybe 50% better. I usually buy both for my painting business. Wish they could come down on price a bit if I bought serious quantity but they don't. Love their Stiffy brushes on dental molding.

  • Excellent value and performance
Size: 1 Inch
I compared this with the same brush (1" sash) made by another manufacturer that rhymes with "thirty." Here are the specs: Spec Proform Other Length (overall) 10-7/8" 10-1/4" Ferrule length 1-5/8" 1-1/2" Ferrule width 1" 1-1/16" Handle thickness 3/8" 5/16" Brush head thickness 9/16" 1/2" Brush length 2-1/4" 1-15/16" Overall the Proform is slightly larger. I first thought I would prefer the narrower handle on the other brand, but slightly more mass in the Proform handle ended up giving me a little more control. SHAPE - Though it's hard to tell from the photos, the cut (shape) of the brush end is more rounded and uniformly curved on the Proform, while the other one is more pointed and slightly more ragged. PAINTING - I found the Proform released the paint more evenly than the other brand; this may be because the other brush has a slight "shelf" (next to last photo) where the outside bristles are cut near the tip, while the Proform bristles run to the end. Also, despite the sharper cut on the other brush, I found it easier to cut in with the Proform, probably because of its narrower profile at the brush end (see last photo). Overall, an excellent brush for a good price. I recommend it. ... show more

  • Good Quality Product.
Size: 2 Inch
Seems like a good Brush Similar to the Pdy. But costs a little less. What I don't understand is why am I getting 2 brush in 2 different packages when order the same time?

  • Phenomenal brushes
Size: 2.5 Inch
Really inexpensive great trim brushes. Don’t buy the brushes from box stores because they are way over priced including any paint store.

  • Great for my use.
Size: 1 Inch
I used this brush to spread clear epoxy on an oak barrel. It worked great. No bristles was lost in the epoxy.

  • Decent brush with better options available.
Size: 2.5 Inch
The Bristles were soft and higher quality than cheap brushes. I did not like the brush as much as the Purdy that my wife bought. I would rate the Purdy as a 4 star. Still need to find a 5 star brush. The handle was smoother and left a smoother finish on the wall, which is important in thin areas where I couldn't use a roller. This brush is a lot better than the cheap bargain ones. I am not a Pro painter, but I probably will look for something better next time. ... show more
