I bought this because my old one broke so I was looking for something affordable to replace it. It steams very well, heats up in 30 seconds like it claims and it was easy to assemble. I love it minus 2 things, when you have to steam a low part of the material (like the bottom of pants or a dress) the cord kinks, it does have a coil around the cord, however it doesn’t go far enough up the cord. The second thing I don’t like is the hanger, it is a big hanger that is stuck to the top of the pole, it does not move at all and it makes it difficult to get anything on the hanger unless it has a very wide neck. Extremely Leakey. Have to keep in permanently on a towel because water spills out of the holding tank like crazy. Additionally, the steam hose is very short. Makes it hard to steam anything larger than a shirt

This steamer is a beast. It's way hotter than the last one I had and it does fully heat up within 30 seconds. I understand now why they include a heat glove with it. You will probably need it. My husband and I both use this steamer for pants, jackets, shirts, dresses, shawls, anything that needs to be steamed. It puts out a lot of steam, so I have not had to go over and over and over the same wrinkled areas like I did with my old one. I'm really pleased with it. I also like the fact that it has numerous heat settings for different fabrics. Be aware that the hose gets very hot. Best not to touch it while the device is on. I do find the hanger stand a little fidgety for anything pullover. I've been just using a regular hanger and hanging it on the hook where the nozzle head sits when the steamer is not in use. That works just fine. As a professional home sewist, I can vouch that this steamer is as good as any of the so-called "professional" ones I've owned before, one of which was twice the price and only lasted a year. I leave this garment steamer out in my laundry room, (which is pretty cramped) - but I leave it out all the time for ease of access and readiness! It works very well!!! The water lasts for a long time - enough to get through dozens of shirts at one time! I’ve used the garment steamer on sweaters too - it has worked wonders very quickly! I do have issues with the neck area of the hanger and pole, when using certain clothing items on it, I included a picture as my first image with a sweater on it to show how it doesn’t quite fit and is weird. I do think they should upgrade the clips, they are not very good. Not very easy to use and leave harsh prints in the area that they clip to. I’ve never used a garment steamer like this before and I absolutely love it, but have no experience prior. I do wish they had a pause button, so I didn’t have to turn the knob and stop the machine just to pause from garment to garment…also, I don’t think the wheels actually turn, it’s more like you’re just dragging un-spinning wheels across the floor… ... show more

Boy, did my excitement over this new timesaver dwindle quickly. This is definitely NOT “professional,” as claimed. The cord is way, way, way too short. It gets out some wrinkles but takes more time to get all wrinkles than just ironing does. (I have a travel steamer that works way better than this.) You can see by the pictures that it did leave wrinkles. Part of that is due to the short pole, so the skirt dragged on the floor. I had to hold it up to steam the hem. Really bad design. Pros: - Heats very quickly - Variety of settings - Nice tank size Cons: - It's cheaply made. - The cord is WAY too short. - The telescopic pole doesn't get tall enough for anything more than a shirt - The hose interferes with the clothing (poor design) - No on/off button on the handle for pausing - The hanger is really flimsy - The clips are flimsy - The brush attachment doesn't attach. Or if it does, it feels like it's going to break in the process. I can't get it on with a pretty decent amount of pressure. In all, I find this was a waste of money. You get what you pay for. If you really want a good steam that takes out the wrinkles and is adequate for a lot of clothes, go for a better model! ... show more
