This is a good product for cleaning up spots on the edges of your soles, but my pair was pretty beat up and the applicator couldn’t quite keep up with the larger repair. I had to take a couple breaks and let the applicator absorb more dye before I could continue. If you want to do larger areas or your edges take a lot of beating you might want to consider the larger size. ... show more

    • Great applicator
I bought this because of the size and applicator built into the bottle. It is easier to apply than via the bigger bottles. Also easier to prevent getting it onto the shoe leather -- which is undesireable.

Works amazingly well. See my before and after picture. I had rubber dainite soles on my Allen Edmonds that began chipping after one year of use. Instead of resoling, I bought this heel dressing and it worked very well. Heels look brand new! The applicator on this product is great, but I wish it was square instead of round tipped because the round tip makes it difficult to get in between the heel and the leather of the shoe.
