This straightener is amazing! It heats up incredibly fast, like seconds. So much faster than other namebrand straighteners I have used in the past. Perfect for when you are running out the door and you see you missed one spot but the straightener is off. No waiting for I to heat up to get that last spot. I also love the automatic shut off if I forget to turn it off. In regards to performance, it glides so smoothly over my hair without any snagging. I am able to do my hair in one pass which I love as it causes less damage. I feel like this just doesn’t work as well as it should, nor does it get as hot as the little dial says it should. I can’t put my finger on it, but something is off about this straightener. It works all right. I just have to keep going over and over my hair to get it nice and straight. This is an experience I’ve only had with extremely cheap straightening tools, so I’m hesitant to say this is a top notch item because it’s just not.

- I try not to use heat on my hair too frequently because i have thin and fine hair but when i do, this is the kind of iron that i like to use. - One thing i really like about this flat iron is that it is very efficient. The contact time on my hair is very short in camparison to other flat irons i have that are less than half the price. And because there is short contact time there is less overall heat exposure. - This is a very good quality flat iron that looks and feels premium and it is very easy to use and hold. - It heats up very quickly and the temperature can be adjusted starting 250 F up to 450 F. I always use the lowest heat setting whenever i use any heating tool on my hair. It might take a tad longer but i feel good about not subjecting my hair to very high temperature. This one is very efficient even at the lowest heat setting though. - The ceramic plates are beautiful mint color and they feel so soft and smooth. The outer part has a matte finish making it look luxurious and not cheap. - This flat iron is pretty lightweight for how big it looks. - It doesn't pull my hair and it curls and straightens my hair very smoothly and effectively. I usually don't have to go over the same bunch of hair twice. Once swipe does the job for me. - I like that this iron claims to use infrared ionic heat to preserve hair integrity. It makes me feel safe using this and in a way justifies the price point. - This iron also gives my hair a smooth and shiny finish. - Overall i really like this flat iron. It curls and straightens my hair very efficiently and quickly.

First off, I love the mint color! The flat iron is made well. It heats up quickly and it gets hot. It says it can be used for curling hair but I would recommend just using as a straightener. The swivel cord at the end helps the coord from being tangled up.

Bought this to use on my mylar bags for food storage. Heats up great and does the job. Not sure on how it works on hair though.

I'm impressed at how quickly this straightener heats up, and how even the heat is. When the little red LED stops blinking, which feels almost instant, it is heated up to the temperature dialed on the temperature control. Actually it's a little bit lower than the temperature on the temperature control dial. But consistent. The biggest issue with this unit to my mind is that the temperature control is extremely hard to read. The tiny print in dark green on black is not something you can read easily. And it's not intuitive because it's the temperature number that's just exposed at the bottom of the wheel that the unit heats up to, and not the temperature in the center of the wheel. The handle has a matte finish, I do wish it had some sort of ridges on it to help keep you alert to when your fingers get near to the heated portion of the iron. The irons are a good size, and have good flexibility under them to allow the flat plates to conform to the hair that is squeezed between them. It has a swivel cord. And an ungrounded plug.

i wouldn't say this is the best straightener/curler out there, but its definitely a good value for a higher end one. i like how it is curved to help with the curling process. although it doesn't get super hot, it does heat up quickly and shouldn't damage your hair. my daughter really likes using this for all kinds of different styles. the color is pretty unique as well.
