Do not hesitate - buy THIS brush. My expensive brush needed replacing and I couldn't find it anywhere - had bought it at a day spa. I bought the Conair "10,000 4-star reviews" round brush and it grabbed my hair, so it went into the garbage along with my money. On blind faith, I bought this brush. I was concerned at first because the size is the measurement of the barrel and I didn't see the manufacturer's sizing table so recommend you look at that for what you want (1.3" - not including the bristles- 2" total). So, it was bigger than what I thought would work with my hair/bangs. I figured I'll try it on my bangs and buy a smaller version if I liked it... was I surprised. First, I want to address the reviews saying the end barrel will burn you - yes it can, but you'd have to use it on high heat directed at the barrel for an extended time and then place it on your skin (why would you do that?). I read reviews, have had the brush for over a month and am conscious that ceramic gets hot and guess what? My brush has never gotten hot enough to burn me - and I've tested/tried it. Awareness is key. The bristles haven't damaged my hair and are designed to grab/control hair - which translates to - it grabs all of the hairs (even fine hairs when your hair is dry!) and smooths, curls perfectly. It might sound like I have some deal for this review. The truth is that I'm a mom, take college classes at night, and don't normally write reviews. This brush allows me to wake up, use dry shampoo, and fix my bangs in 1 minute. No joke. The hair-parting tool in the handle is a nice benefit, but I haven't used it yet. If you want a quality brush that works, doesn't damage or make your hair fly-away, and costs 1/3 of what I spent on my last one - this is the winner. Additional info - if it helps anyone: I'm 46. Hair is colored every 4 weeks - lots of grays - and I have bangs and chest-length hair that is on the finer side, but I have a lot of it. I use salon hair products so it's soft, not dry or brittle.

I thought that it was very cheap for such a great brush. The bristles aren't too sharp and keeps my hair curly and looking amazing throughout the day so thank you osensia! Truly an amazing, five star round brush. Will be purchasing more in additional sizes. Perfection. Couldn’t ask for anything better. No hair caught in weird grooves that pulls out strands, great grip, easily pulls through hair, but also has some grip to it. Hair is always silky smooth and can’t stop touching it after using this brush to dry my hair. I recently cut my hair into a sharp-edged long bob—shortest pieces are barely below my natural hair line on the nape of my neck and longest pieces are about mid-way between shoulders and bottom of ears. Ever since the chop, I’ve found it impossible to style my hair using the round brushes I previously used which were 1-2 inches in diameter. I was on the hunt for a smaller brush, found this on amazon and after reading the reviews, decided to give it a whirl. OMG am I glad I did. Game changer, my friends!

I got this brush about a week ago and have used it maybe five times, and had wondered why my hair felt sticky and and dirty despite just washing it, so I looked at my brush today and there were this sticky residue all over the brush and in the bristles and I have no idea what it is. I don't use any product on my hair except shampoo, so it's not residue from that, and I thought it might have melted, but I haven't used any heat on my hair since getting it. This particular brush might be defective, but from my experience, I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.
