This works great for general grooming and upkeep. I use it to trim my beard, as well as to clean up my sideburns and neckline. It has a nice sleek look and decent build quality. It is made with a plastic body that probably isn't the most durable option, but it feels like it will hold up fine to normal use. It's easy to hold and simple to operate with a size that makes it easy to store and travel with Most importantly it cuts well. The blades operate smoothly and quietly and easily cut through my coarse beard hairs as well as the softer hairs on my neck and sideburns. I don't get any pulling or pinching, and it has a strong enough motor to work through thick patches of hair without getting hung up. It has two operating speeds, but it cuts fine even on the lower speed In addition, the set comes with several extras that make this an excellent value. It comes with a pair of scissors and a comb for cutting and styling. It also includes 4 length guards that easily pop on and off for a consistent cut every time. This comes in especially handy for beard trimming. There is also a cleaning brush and blade oil to keep it clean and operating well This is an excellent option for anyone looking for a basic grooming trimmer with a few extras.
