My husband’s hair grows very quickly and since he likes it short I end up giving him a haircut every three weeks. The shaver that I originally use is starting to get older and I can tell it’s been slowly dying. When I saw this, I decided to grab it because I wanted to try something a bit different. This one reminds me a bit of those heavier, bulkier brands. It does work well, but it definitely is a bit on the heavy side. I like that you can adjust the cut with a quick flick of a leaver, however that is also somewhat of a problem. If you aren’t quite used to where the placement of it is, it can be easy to press it and change the height. The combs can be a bit of a struggle to pull off, but putting them on is really easy. The shaver holds a charge really well and it charges up pretty quickly. I like that it also comes with a smaller easier to use trimmer that my husband can use to keep his side burns or face hair nice and trimmed. I’m not sure how often he will use it, but I like that he has the option. If you are used to a certain type of shaver then it does take a minute to find the perfect cut size, but once you do this is really easy to use. The price of this isn’t bad either!

I am pleased with the clippers so far. They work great to give me a quick trim when my hair and beard get a little unmanageable. The style of the face trimmer looks like it cuts closer than it really does. The battery life has been fantastic so far and the simplicity of just pressing a button or flipping a switch and getting a decent trim is good. I would classify this more of a hair clipper/trimmer than I would a shaver. Using this for shaving leaves me with stubble and a five o'clock shadow. I wouldn't count on this if my job required a baby bottom shave but I rock a trimmed beard and this unit did work in my favor.

Great gift for Christmas

This is a decent set of clippers and trimmers on a budget. They’re easy to use, cut well, battery didn’t die fast and the trimmers feel durable. The clippers themselves feel very lightweight but that doesn’t take away from their ability to cut. My only con is that a couple of the guards that come with this set aren’t numbered like the standard guards and you only receive four guards for the clippers themselves. I was able to cut my husband’s hair with these but I had to use my other clippers to taper and fade because this set doesn’t come with any numbered guards low enough for that. Overall this is a decent set if you’re looking for DIY at home. Not bad if you’re looking to save money!
