The phots must have changed on this because i specifically looked at them when making my selection - but the unit does NOT fit the Extreme Pro SSD drive. This is my 3rd attempt at a case like this - and honestly i think I'll give up. The other question is - WHY are these things so darn large when you have a drive so small. Being SSD it shouldn't need that much protection - all my 2.5" external drive cases are smaller than this. It's a Good case - but it's just too large for it's intended use if you look at the primary photo I could probably stack about 5 of these drives on each other and still not be as thick at this case. ... show more

This fits the SanDisk external drive I bought like it was made by SanDisk specifically for this drive. It fits PERFECTLY. It feels like it is really sturdy. It is a great addition to the drive, especially if you need to move the drive around from place to place. (I don't, it is mostly going to stay in one place, but will be used by different people--it makes me more comfortable if it is stored in a nice cushy, strong case. ... show more

    • Very snug fit -- good choice for travel.
Zipper a little sticky. But SSD fits snugly and the inside net holds the connecting cord and USB adapter. It was a good choice for me.

This is a well made case My drive fits perfectly and firmly should offer plenty of protection when I carry it in my laptop bag. Plus there’s room for adapters and such.

I like this case because it has more room inside so that I don't damage the cable by having to push it into a the smaller cases. Yes, this is little bigger than other smaller cases, but who wants to cramp their cable into such tiny spaces on the smaller cases.     • Just what was needed
I purchased an external SSD drive and needed a case for it and this was perfect! It's a sturdy zipper case with an insert that is a perfect fit for a 2" X 3.5" SSD drive with a section to store the cords. I liked it enough to buy another one when I purchased a second external SSD drive.
