Setup took less than five minutes. I installed a 1TB NVMe drive I had lying around, plugged it in, and it was instantly recognized on both my Windows PC and MacBook. Tested speeds over USB 3.2 Gen 2 and they were right in line with what I expected — fast enough for backups, media editing, and even bootable OS installs. Super easy to use. Also came with lil screws + a screwdriver to lock the SSD in. Works well with Windows and my media player box. Came with a couple short cables. No complaints at all, works how I expected. Even came with a heat distribution pad to keep the SSD cool.

Good enclosure. Install is tight!! needs to be for thermals of SSD board. So no surprise. added board and it almost just worked. Eventually I sorted out that the USB cables (both the USB-C - USB-C and the USB-C to USB-A) were bad. Not totally bad but caused a lot of disconnect or data fails. I replaced with a known good high performance cable and everything works reliably. If I didn't have to sort that out (tooks 2 days to identify and correct root cause) I would have rated 5. ... show more

Enclosure for a PCI-e drive works great. Turned my old laptop SSD into a nice little 250Gig "flashdrive" that is extremely portable. Easy to install drive. Couple screws, slide it shut, plug it in and go. Short cables, but who really cares about that unless you're 3 feet from the computer that it will plug into. It is made of metal and not plastic so it should be nice and durable to dropping. ... show more

The device arrived when promised, fit my ssd device like a glove and through the usb cables (both a & c were) supplied, quickly allowed me to see the files that nearly filled my 500 meg drive to the brink of overflowing. It even looks good doing its job. The only change I'd recommend would be to offer them in different colors to quickly differentiate multiple devices as needed. I picked up this SSK M.2 NVME SATA SSD Enclosure Adapter to repurpose an old NVMe drive, and I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. The aluminum enclosure feels sturdy and well-crafted, with a sleek design that helps with heat dissipation. Installation was straightforward — no tools required beyond what’s included, and my SSD fit snugly without any issues. It’s compatible with both NVMe and SATA drives, which makes it a very versatile option if you have different types of M.2 SSDs lying around. Performance-wise, I’m getting great speeds — close to 10 Gbps on USB 3.2 Gen 2, just as advertised. Transfers are fast and reliable, and it fully supports UASP and TRIM for optimal SSD performance.
