This is a really great wheelchair - it is pretty lightweight, easy to fold and lift into an SUV. It rolls around smoothly and is easy to use sitting at a work desk. This is a great wheelchair in every way, except, that the adjustable leg/foot rests would NOT remain in the full up position. As the chair is moved, the leg/foot rests tend to move down a bit. This wouldn't be a big deal for most people but for someone with a very painful broken kneecap, the smallest unexpected movement is a BIG deal. Otherwise, this is a great chair and a fantastic value for the money.

I am having some trouble with this wheelchair. It arrived a couple weeks ago, but my husband did not take it out of the box for me until today. When we tried to lower the seat height with the quick release feature, the wheel rubbed against the brake mechanism and we don't have enough clearance for the wheel to turn unobstructed.If we adjust the brake where the wheel no longer drags, the brake no longer functions. I have to have the seat lower to self propel and don't know if I should send this back or if someone can tell me how to fix this. I tried to add to this review, hope it works this time. As we looked at this wheelchair further, we realized that one wheel is too close to the frame and doesn't have enough clearance to accommadate the brake mechanism. Doesn't matter if wheels are set high or low, only way to use this wheelchair is to remove the brake on one side. How will I know if someone reads this review?

The back rest is not strong enough for everyday, all day use in the house. After only a few weeks, the rivets have gone through the cloth. i had to rig it by adding oversized washer. not sure how long this solution will last.

I purchased this wheelchair for my husband who is in a nursing home and unable to stand or walk on his own. I was not happy with it from the beginning. It was difficult to lock either the legs or the wheels. Over the weekend the bolt broke on the break making it unsafe to use. I would like to return or exchange it but since we have had it longer than 30 days we can't return it. We have had it less than 2 months!!!
