I bought these for a marathon and I have to say they work! I used to take a liquid energy but they didn't have the flavor I was used to. So I read a lot and chose these. I tested them on a few runs and workouts before the marathon, without any issues. The day of the race, I took 3, 30 minutes before the race and then again at the half mark. I felt fantastic! No stomach aches. No thirst issues. My 18 year old daughter (a Lacrosse player), takes a few before her workout, and says they are excellent! These are a great packing snack! I hike in weather up to 95 degrees and these help you keep going and hydrate & they taste great which is a plus! I always keep these on me on my hikes for a quick easy snack. I put them in the fridge before the hot hikes & they stay content in my backpack for the long journeys. I purchased these particular chews because I read that they are one of the only running gummies to include B vitamins (though now I can't remember why that's beneficial). The one thing that's a little annoying about the packaging is that they contain an odd number of gummies (usually 11), so you can't just divide the pack evenly in two for two servings. But that doesn't matter much I guess unless you're trying to closely track how many carbs you're getting. During my runs when I'm fueling, I'll usually eat between 2-4 of these every 20 minutes. They are definitely on the larger size and take a little bit of time to chew, but I kind of like that. They taste really good, just like candy. Definitely sweet tasting, not salty at all. I have purchased these multiple times for my kid's sports tournaments. She does not like the sports drinks but these taste like fruit snacks and help with some energy during long tournament days. Her favorite flavor are pink lemonade and strawberry, she does not like the orange.

I like these a lot. They are my go to chewables for ultramarathons or long road runs. Before a race or long effort I'll eat half a pack to get my body going. And then every other mile or so I'll eat another half pack. I like that they don't get as slimy as GU Chews can, though their packaging isn't as sleek and slim as the GU or Clif alternatives. I do also like that each chew is small, so I can choose to shove in as few or as many at one time. Taste good to me even if they're a little hardened by cold weather, just work the packaging in your hands a bit or wear them down in your mouth. Great for a run! I like the small size of each chew. They don't get sticky and have a nice flavor, not artificial tasting. This flavor has no caffeine, which I like, because on a long run, too much caffeine makes me jittery, and I still need the chews, so I alternate using a caffeinated and flavor and these. I have tried these while doing 8 to 10 mile day hikes and have not noticed any significant boost in energy. The gummies do taste good. Disappointed that the first carton I purchased had 12 gummies in each packet (6 gummies per serving), but the second carton I purchased only has 11 gummies in each packet (5.5 gummies per serving). Seems the consumer gets screwed again so companies can make more money by cutting corners. Will not purchase again. ... show more
