This carburetor brought my Craftsman back from the dead. The mower went from “angry coughing and refusing to start” to firing up on the first pull like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Instant glow up. Fit was spot on no weird modifications, no fighting with bolts, no guessing games. Everything lined up exactly as it should, which made installation quick even for someone who’s more weekend DIY than full-time mechanic. Once installed, the engine ran smoother, idled better, and stopped stalling like it was doing before. Throttle response is crisp, fuel flow is steady, and it actually feels reliable again. I didn’t realize how bad the old carb was until this one showed me what “normal” is supposed to sound like.     • Fits and works perfectly!!
WOW!! Fit and works perfectly on my craftsman snowblower. I bought a new snowblower 5 years ago, I used it alot the first year and it sat idle ever since. When I tried starting it it would not start. After watching numerous repair videos I narrowed it down to a clogged carburetor as the likely culprit. Taking apart and cleaning the carburetor seemed like too much work with having to soak all the little parts and then reassemble it. I read the reviews for this carburetor and for the price took a chance. The carburetor came fully assembled and the box came with extra parts including gaskets, hoses, a primer button and more. The new carburetor and included parts were a perfect match. I swapped them out, reconnected everything and filled it with fresh gas. I plugged the snowblower in, hit the electric start button and it fired right up on the first try. So excited to have my snowblower back and happy to save money and time on this part. I’ve had this for over a year waiting to put on my not starting snowblower. Put on my snowblower and it surprisingly fired right up. Wish the tube for the primer button was longer, wound up reusing old. And wish it came with a choke switch handle. I had to modify the old one to fit this one.
