DTF Transfer Film This was the first time I used anything like this. This paper comes with no instructions, so if you are like me, you will have to ask someone , or look online for instructions. Apparently you want to print your image on the matte side of the paper from what I found online. I used this paper to successful print an image on a tumbler. The image was poorly done and color was very faded. I do not know if it was the paper's fault , or a newb mistake. I only had one tumble available , so I could not try again.. Since I am inexperienced with this type of paper , I do not know what to expect, but it did get an image onto the tumbler..even if poorly , so currently best rating I can give is ... 3 stars. Results were so poor I trashed it before I even thought to take pictures. Explaining my rating system: 5 - a superior product - I would highly recommend 4 - above average – a great choice 3 - average – what one might generally expect 2 - below average – I would advise seeking an alternative 1- Horrible – a waste of your valuable money - avoid if at all possible

This film unfortunately is too thin to feed well through the printer. I could only get maybe 1 of every 3 sheets to feed without jamming and had to put a trip of tape on the front edge to get the printer to recognize it. I only ended up with 1 usable print from all my attempts, and it looked great after pressing, but the hassle to get it wasn't worth it. The DTF substrate is really nice though, leaves a good finish and hand feel, and the ink retention was great. Just too think of base material to be able to use it consistently. I'll probably try it again at some point but it's not a great choice if you just want to print vs experiment for hours.

Now all I can think of when I see DTF is that shocked son when he sees his mother with DTF printed across her chest. I never once associated it with the text meaning until then. These are high-quality DTF PET transfer sheets. I have been able, with some adjustments, to use an HD inkjet printer, this film, and then the DTF powder to successfully make transfers without having to use my DTF printer. You might ask why, I ask why not? I'm giving it three stars because I can't say whether it will transfer or not. I can only judge what worked for me. It's hard to tell which side is supposed to be glossy and which side is supposed to be matte. You have to shine it very carefully to know which side is which. This paper comes with no instructions, so I didn't know if it should print on the glossy or matte side. The ad says "double sided" so I don't know if it's supposed to work on both sides. It didn't want to go through my inkjet printer. Its advertised as inkjet printer, so I used it with my Brother inkjet printer. It took a long time to get it to feed into the printer. I finally got it to feed through the back manual feeder, with a plain piece of paper behind it. That concerned me because the manual feed is only supposed to be 1 sheet of paper, and I was feeding two pieces. Since it didn't print well, I didn't get to the transfer part. I gave up after trying to get it to print.
