I purchased the XTEINK X3 eBook Reader after reading mixed reviews, and here’s my take. It’s a neat little gadget, especially for those who like the idea of a mini eBook reader that attaches to the back of your phone. While it doesn’t replace a Kindle, it shines in its own way. The XTEINK X3 is portable for quick reading sessions during commutes, breaks, or while waiting for my daughter’s classes to end. By contrast, I find the Kindle better suited for longer, more immersive reading sessions, such as winding down before bed. Both devices serve different purposes, and I enjoy having both. The XTEINK X3 has some limitations. Wi-Fi setup isn’t the most convenient, especially if you need to save multiple networks. It also doesn’t support PDFs directly, so you’ll need to convert those files beforehand. Plus, the small screen and lack of a touchscreen might not appeal to everyone. It sounds more like a niche, “geeky” gadget. Overall, the XTEINK X3 is a great companion for distraction-free, on-the-go reading. If you’re looking for something compact and lightweight for short bursts of reading, this is a fantastic option. Just keep its quirks in mind, and you’ll likely enjoy it as much as I do.

I adore this ridiculously tiny e-reader. It fits in the palm of my hand, and I have child-sized hands. It doesn’t do Kindle books, but it does do ePub files and that’s all I need from it. I’ve been using it to read long form fanfiction and it’s ideal for that. Updates come often with tweaks and bug fixes, and transferring books and images is easily done via the phone app over WiFi. I’ve only had to charge it once in the week I’ve had it, despite using it for hours each day, so I’d say the battery is plenty good for something this tiny. The screen is good enough and the buttons are easy to use, although not intuitive. That said they’re also often labeled on the screen. All in all I’d recommend it for anyone who needs the diminutive size and isn’t afraid of a bit of trial and error in figuring out how to use the device. I loved it so much immediately that I bought it a case from the manufacturers website, and that came from China in just a week as well. If you’re on the fence, go for it!

This tiny eReader is great! It's a solid little device that fits in my pocket and I can take anywhere. It allows me to focus on reading without other distracting functionality. The best thing is that it's customizable. You can change the firmware, the fonts, the whole look and feel. There's also a user interface via WiFi making managibility a breeze. Love it!

Item was delivered fast. The eBook Reader is super slow, for example to initially open epub book it took 9 minutes and 13 seconds because it goes through a long process before the ebook is ready for reading. On pages that have pictures it takes 3 minutes and 43 seconds to change page. Changing pages with just words no pictures is not as slow but it is sluggish. I can’t recommend this product as it is too slow!

Look, I fell victim to wanting another e-reader to pair with my Kindle. Did I need it? Absolutely not. But I justified it by telling myself it was more pocketable, could stick to the back of my phone, and would give me something fun to tinker with through custom firmware, backgrounds, and stepping outside of the Amazon ecosystem. I was worried the XTEINK 3 might feel too small, but I’ve actually found the opposite to be true. Its compact size and accessibility make it incredibly easy to carry everywhere, and I’ve been reaching for it far more often than I expected. It’s perfect for turning little pockets of downtime into reading time instead of mindlessly scrolling on my phone. My biggest complaint is the lack of a frontlight, but that’s also where my Kindle still has a place. The two devices complement each other well. This one comes with me everywhere, and the Kindle handles nighttime reading. The included screen protector was a little challenging to install, although that’s probably more a reflection of my impatience than the product itself (if you zoom in on my photos, you’ll spot a few dust particles trapped underneath). I’m not a particularly tech-savvy person, but I was able to figure out how to flash Crosspoint firmware without much trouble, which made the device even more enjoyable to customize. Overall, I have zero regrets about this purchase. It’s a fun, unique little e-reader that has genuinely helped me read more often, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for an ultra-portable reading device.

The X3 is incredibly lightweight, fits easily in a pocket, and the E-Ink display is comfortable for long reading sessions. The gyroscope page-turn feature works smoothly just shake to turn pages, and the distraction-free experience is exactly what I wanted. Great device for reading anywhere.

I’ve been using this for a while now and overall it’s been pretty good. It’s compact and easy to take anywhere, which is one of the main reasons I bought it. I like that it helps me read more instead of spending time on my phone when I’m bored. The battery life has been solid and I don’t have to worry much about charging it. That said, it’s not the fastest device and there can be a slight delay when navigating menus. The screen is great for reading, but it can feel a little limited compared to a tablet. Overall, it does what it’s supposed to do and has been worth it for me.

I did noooot think I would like this device!! I originally got it to test out e-readers, and the first thing I did when I got the package was download Cross Point. And WOW!! I have read more and faster than I ever have in my adult life!! I feel the wonder again, especially since I have such a busy busy on-the-go lifestyle. It fits on the back of my phone and comes everywhere with me. I read every day, and reach for it before I scroll. It's super fun, and I love love loooove it. I suggest this device to anyone who finds themselves on their phones scrolling for no good reason.
