Chose this as an alternative to solar screen mesh for the whole house and it did not disappoint. It adds an element of privacy and definitely helps in keeping the house cooler and a little less bright in the morning. Watched a ton of YouTube videos before I even attempted to use this but I'm soooo glad I bought this. Blocks a huge amount of sun during the day and keeps my house cooler plus the added bonus that no one can see through during the day. Order the squeegee kit. Make the baby shampoo water in the spray bottle and spray the window and the tint. Use a big straight edge for cutting straight lines. My husband and I did our whole house (18 big window panels and 2 door panels) in about 6.5 hours. You COULD do it alone, but don't. You need help cutting and spraying/peeling the tint. ... show more

This stuff is awesome. You’ll save yourself a lot of time and heartache if you prep your work surface first. A lot of windows on the edges have extra sloppy glue. If you don’t remove that stuff, well.. you’ll see. It’s a nightmare. Take your time and prep the window first. Get some razor blades and get rid of ALL the extra glue. The corners are the most important. Strip it ALL off. Make sure every single edge is perfectly clean. When you put the film on and start running the razor to cut, you’ll thank me. Also take that same razor after you clean the window twice and run it across the glass. You’ll be surprised of all the bumps you hit. A speck of paint you didn’t think was there on the glass will make a bump in the film. I can’t stress it enough, make the surface perfect. Get a roll of paper towels and be liberal with the spraying during application. It will all squeegie out during the install and land on the window sill and floor. Side benefit of that is boom you instantly clean the window sill and floor underneath window with that soapy water. This stuff is awesome. Did the entire house. ... show more

Nice looking, fairly easy to install and good adhesion. Be aware, this tint did not block any heat transfer. I used it to tint every window in my 31ft travel trailer. I decided that if it did a great job at blocking heat I would also use it in my Florida room to make the room useful in the summer months. Glad I did the camper first. Absolutely no heat blocking that I could notice. It does a very nice job at darkening the space which is all that I needed in the camper so I am pleased with its performance there. ... show more

I am certainly not a professional at window tinting But... this product was super easy to install in my house. I advise to use plenty of soapy water on the film as you separate it from the plastic backing. As well as on the window. I used scotch tape to separate the film and backing. It worked like a charm. Can't advise on how to get the corners cut perfectly once it's on the window because I suck at that part. The squeegy was awesome for getting the bubbles out. The project didn't turn out too bad for an amateur. It serves its purpose. Good luck on your install. Watch videos. ... show more

Was extremely impressed great quality film, we used to tint an older rv cut heat transfer down by quite a bit before install my new ac never cycled off now it cycles off and on throughout the day. We’re in direct sun no trees. It dropped the interior temp by 6 degrees. We’re going to apply a second layer I’ll update the review at that time. During the day you cannot see in the rv at all, at night you can see figures but it’s pretty dark. ... show more
