I measured my garage door opening several months ago and it was 19'2", however, I had done it quickly using my Bosch laser tape measure so I simply assumed it was 20ft nominal opening. I figured I would double check it and this time I went back out there and did it carefully... same thing 19'2" but then I noticed that on the screen it actually read 19 2", duh! 192 divided by 12 = 16ft. I was about to purchase some garage door items that would have been for 20ft doors and, well you get the picture. So, I installed the Velcro-like tape, then waited 24 hours for it to cure or set or whatever it is. Then I installed the screen and it all went fairly well. The screen is far lighter than I expected it to be so I have not had an issue with it pulling down, even though the Velcro is knock-off stuff it does work well enough. It looks good and keeps the yellow-jacket wasps out and that is 5 stars for me! My Rating System: 5-Stars - A Superior Product or Above Average & An Excellent Value - I would recommend. 4-Stars - Above Average OR Excellent Value – A great choice. 3-Stars - Average – What one might generally expect. 2-Stars - Below Average Product OR Poor Quality Control – Maybe seek an alternative. 1-Stars - Avoid if at all possible.

Not sure how they made the material but it seems "space age" and very high tech. It is shimmery but on the inside you can clearly see right through it (see pic with chair back). Very well made - super sturdy. We live on a farm and needed a way to keep the animals out of our hay barn. The chickens and ducks leave deposits on the hay and hide their eggs surprising us when they bring out babies. We need to be able to get in and out easily without using our hands as we are normally pushing a wheelbarrow. We needed something you can take down so when they bring in the hay forklift they have the height needed. This is way too nice for what we are going to use it for but dang is this the most practical solution for us and it works perfectly. Cats and dogs go through it but the chickens and ducks don't and we can easily get through it pushing the wheelbarrow and it closes so nicely behind us. Super functional but it is also very nice looking.. perfect for an upscale neighborhood. Gives you some privacy while working in your garage while also allowing a nice breeze to keep you cool while the screen keeps out pests. Great price.. well made.. score!

What a clever way to seal your garage! With our garage door malfunctioning and family coming over this weekend, this has truly saved our garage from being exposed. I’m unsure of the method used to create the material, but it has a shimmering effect and is transparent on the inside. It seems to be of high quality and very durable. The garage screen door is not only highly functional, but it also adds a touch of elegance to the overall appearance. The assembly process was effortless, and once it was put together, the door easily locks with a magnetic strip. I want to clarify that I’m not criticizing the product, but because I live in a windy area, I’m concerned that the door will easily come undone. This Privacy Garage Door Screen Ticks all the boxes for our place. It's a thick sturdy screen that reminds me of solar screens that can be put on windows. It has good daytime privacy. This can be rolled up so it's totally out of the way or left down. With the self-closing feature. We can keep it down while still walking in and out. Our use for this may be a little unconventional. we have a metal barn that has a roll-up garage door on either end. We need airflow inside while screening out the bugs and doors need to be kept up for ventilation of the livestock. We don't like everyone who drives by being able to scope out the tools and equipment we have in the barn. This worked out to be the perfect solution for us. 90% of the time we can keep it down. There have only been 2 occasions where we needed to roll it up and that was to move a lawn tractor.

This is an extremely important accessory for garage door in that it can allow you to keep the garage door open to work on things, but not allow people to easily see in and not allow bugs in, but help keep the garage more cool and ventilated. It's designed to install on the exterior garage door frame and has a number of different ways you can attach it and then detach it. There's a metallic center strip that lets you easily walk in and out of the garage through the center of the screen. This is going to be a big game-changer for the way we use our garage this summer.

We were impressed with this screen, since it is actually a fine quality metal mesh and not like the cheap flimsy mosquito screens that rip the first week you get them. The outside of our 16 x 7 screen is a bright silver & the inside is a darker, gray color. Tough to show the difference in the picture. It came with the tacks & tape to secure the screen. The mesh is very fine, so it will keep bugs out, even the annoying little gnats. Since it’s metal, it has a decent weight to it and appears it would hold up to a pet’s claws. This screen is very versatile to use as a privacy screen on decks, pergolas, car ports and garages.
