We needed something more for the rods all over the boat. Were a family of four with at least two piles each. So there’s a lot going on in the boat. These hold all the extras down. Works just as it should. Easy to install, and durable enough for its purpose. Worth the cost. Will buy another.

Perfect set of four(4) high strength rod straps for your boat. These ship with all of the necessary hardware to easily install these on your bass boat or wherever you need to hold down your valuable fishing rods. Each of these has a metal screw down loop that takes two (2) screws and a plastic termination loop on the end of each bungee that takes one (1) screw and has a metal hook on the other. These work great for quickly securing rods and reels down on your boat preventing them from being ejected from the boat while trailering the boat as well as when traveling across a choppy lake getting to your favorite spot. They are easy to install only taking a few minutes. I like the bungee cord type because they adjust themselves for the number of rods and/or the size without doing any damage. These have proved to be durable and after accidentally stepping on them many times. They continue to work just as good as the day they were installed. This is a quick, easy and inexpensive way to protect your investment making them a great value.

I obtained the Pristis 4 pcs Fishing Rod Straps originally intended for securing rods on boat decks, but I used them for a very different purpose — replacing a worn-out seat strap on my kayak. I was a bit skeptical at first, wondering if something marketed for fishing rods would be adaptable enough, but these straps completely exceeded my expectations. What I Liked Most: Modular and Customizable Design: The straps come apart easily, which allowed me to cut them to a custom length. This was crucial for achieving a snug and secure fit for my kayak seat. Once trimmed and reassembled, they give a clean, factory-finished look — not some obvious DIY hack. If you look close at the picture, one is a factory connector and one is a replacement; you cannot tell the two apart! Durability and Build Quality: The rubber is thick and strong, with just enough flexibility. It feels like it can take a beating from sun, saltwater, and constant tension without stretching out or cracking. I got these to hold my fishing poles on my kayak. They come with the necessary installation hardware so all I had to do was figure out where I wanted them and screw them in. The bungee material feels strong and durable and they function as intended. 18" is a bit long for a kayak but I was able to improvise and they work fine. You could also use these inside a utility trailer to keep items that are hung up from rattling.

I wish I had a bass boat, but I don’t. So I can’t review these for their primary intended purpose. However, I got these to use as straps to keep things from tipping over in my garage. I bring my patio umbrellas into the garage for the winter, along with a flag and pole. I had been leaning them in the stud bays, but I wanted a more secure storage solution. These work perfectly. The elastic is strong and the plastic components feel durable. They were easy to install, and I think they will hold up well since they are kept out of the elements.
