Super, high frame for a 8'x8' bedroom will allow for lots of storage space underneath...the only way to go! Two of us built it in less than 30 minutes. And we used a rubber mallet to get a few of the center bars in place to add the screw. The were tight with the paint at those spots but it worked out easily. Simple, basic, affordable, sturdy. Everything I was looking for in a bed frame. I have not heard any squeaks which seems to be a common complaint for steel bed frames but this one seems solid. First of all, the value of this bed frame (at least the Twin XL version) is simply unmatched. So it gets five stars for that alone. Assembly was difficult in a few steps. The machining on the metal is imprecise. Some cut out holes where you needed to insert certain parts were hard to get in and required a lot of force. One of the slots where you place the slabs (looks like a "U"), was too narrow to get a slab in. Required a hammer to force the slab in. In the end, it worked, but not without some sweat and cursing. The end product is nice, minimalist, and sturdy. It doesn't squeak, at all. The slabs are lower than the border frame, so your mattress is inset and doesn't slide around. I'm very happy with this purchase. Again, you can't beat the price and the product is great. Just a little hassle in assembly, but it's worth it. ... show more

I accidentally bought the wrong size, but it is really easy and took like 30-40 minutes to set up and taking it down took around 10-20 minutes. It has simple instructions and is really nice. The height is perfect!

I am a large female and I was redoing my daughter's room and decided to get her this bed frame. Not only was it super easy to put together. I mean like put it together in less than 15 minutes it was that fast. And I did it all by myself which was even more convenient as I wanted it to be a surprise for my daughter. I absolutely love that the slots that they have for structure or Velcro so it makes it incredibly easy to get those flat boards placed easily.
