Quality buy for anyone in the medical profession. This one I gifted to my wife for Christmas and I have one of my own that I would have bought a while back. I can tell you the material really holds up well. I remember I used to buy cheap Stethoscope to save money but the sound quality would fade with time. These littmanns don’t have that issue. Very comfortable, the weight of it is on the heavier side as opposed to the cheaper options I would have usually used but the weight to me is comfortable. Definitely sets the bar. Costs a little more, but the looks and the acoustics are awesome. Plus, after 5 years, when most tubes begin to dry out and break, you can send these in for a complete rebuild. I used these all my professional life. They set the bar. Thank you

The Stethoscope is AMAZING the seller is the problem. Littman Cardiology IV is great for low sounds for pulse reading and sensitive acoustic at a reasonable price. I would totally recommend it. If you try to use it for helicopter use or a noisy background this Littman does not offer noise isolation but if you focus enough you can listen to it clearly. The seller AMAZON sold me a littman but should have stated it was used or at least it appears to be. The box was open, the manual torn showing signs of use and the stethoscope was dusty. They replaced the ear tips and also cleaned the hearing cone however begs to question whether or not it was truly new. I wish that under these conditions i had a price cut or at least warned. Instead i bought it thinking it was new but clearly it wasnt. They didnt even cared to close the box properly with adhesive or plastic. It works and shows no sign of integrity damage but the color i ordered was almost gone when i did. Only reason why i haven't returned it is because i need one now i don’t have time to wait for another one. I expected better Amazon ... show more
