A new class of clarity The 3M Littmann CORE Digital Stethoscope features the outstanding acoustics, comfort and quality of a Littmann cardiology-grade stethoscope enhanced by powerful digital technology. Features like up to 40x amplification1 and active noise cancellation can help you auscultate with greater confidence. The 3M Littmann CORE Stethoscope connects with Eko software on a smart device2 to visualize, record and share data. (Smart device not included. Some features require a subscription.) Take listening to a whole new level The FDA-cleared 3M Littmann CORE Stethoscope toggles between analog and amplified listening modes so you can listen how you want to during assessments. Tunable diaphragm technology—a 3M invention—lets you hear different frequency sounds by simply adjusting the pressure on the chestpiece. Hold the chestpiece with light pressure on the patient to hear low frequency sounds; press a little more to hear higher frequency sounds. Soft- sealing ear tips conform to individual ears for optimal comfort and excellent sound occlusion. The 3M Littmann CORE Stethoscope works with Eko software on iOS and Android devices, giving you a HIPAA compliant means to save and annotate 15, 30, 60 or 120-second recordings in a secure dashboard. Create a library of heart sounds to monitor the progressions of a disease or for education, and securely share recordings with colleagues. 140X amplification based on comparison of analog versus electronically assisted amplified listening with maximum volume at the peak frequency (125 Hz). I love the stethoscope, particularly in cardiology since it’s so accurate and you can amplify the sound. You’re able to pick up the slightest deviation in normal sounds. It works as a normal telescope if you run out of battery. It is very soft and comfortable. I clean mine every day so it doesn’t get sticky. It is an incredible investment. I highly recommended. The media could not be loaded. So far, it looks and feels great. I'm HOH so I needed something I can amplify sound with. I had a budget, so it was important to stay below a certain number but still have something good and effective. I have not taken this to work yet, but trying it at home, it met my expectations. I did compare it to my basic stethoscope and the difference is night and day. I can definitely hear better from this. I don't know if I'll use the smart features, but I do hope there is a way to adjust volume gradually instead of the button going regular to loud. We'll see. Its very stylish and professional looking. It feels durable. The black color was affordable compared to competitors who charge more for a solid color. I didn't receive any incentives but I do recommend this product. ... show more

As a former Fire & Rescue EMT I went all out and I bought this 3M Littmann CORE digital stethoscope to compliment my Wellue BP2 Connect - Blood Pressure Monitor + AI-ECG and O2/pulse finger monitor. I will be adding a few more items to my "set" soon. My declining health and doctors somewhat dictated that I get those and few other things. I decided that I would bite the bullet and get now what I could not afford as and EMT back then. Sometimes nice things just make you feel better, at least that was my perspective and rationale that I used to justify this. I will leave it to my favorite doctor in my Will! lol It is nice and works well, but very overpriced for me and my application- that of being the patient and not a doctor, especially a cardiologist and that is who this setup is aimed at. I would like to suggest that they have an APP that is aimed for people/users like me, but it is a HIGH QUALITY PROFESSIONAL DEVICE and I suspect that there are very few of the MEs out there that will spring for this and at the price they ask. When I saw my GP today he and his assistant were impressed, and got the appropriate amount of OOOHs and AAAAHHHs that one would expect. I like COPPER color and that is what I got with gold being to tripe and overused now-days I picked COPPER as my go-to metallic color of choice. I do with the metal earpieces would match instead of being black, but I bet I can make a project of it and copper plate it at home one of these days?? However, after getting this and more contemplation- I have decided that if I were todo it over again, YES- I would do it again. Now if I can find an APP that would let me integrate this S-Scope with the Wellue products then I would be a really happy camper. I don't have time to learn to program an APP to do it so I will just have to hope some bored programmer will and let me know! lol YES- If this is what you need and want, go for it- buy it and then ask nicely for better software if you need it (like me). I did not like the optional ID tag that I purchased with it. At any price (or free) is a cheap-out option to go with such a fine medical instrument and then put their name on it!?! What were you thinking 3M/LITTMANN? Someone in authority needs to see the packaging and quality and reconsider that option, seriously reconsider. Yes- get the S-scope CORE Digital thing and pass up the optional ID thing. Maybe use a gold paint pen and write your name behind the short hose, sounds trashy but it is a step up from what they offer and actually put their brand on!
