Features like up to 40x amplification1 and active noise cancellation can help you auscultate with greater confidence. The 3M Littmann CORE Stethoscope connects with Eko software on a smart device to visualize, record and share data (Smart device not included. Some features require a subscription). Take listening to a whole new level The FDA-cleared 3M Littmann CORE Stethoscope toggles between analog and amplified listening modes so you can listen how you want to during assessments. Tunable diaphragm technology—a 3M invention—lets you hear different frequency sounds by simply adjusting the pressure on the chestpiece. Hold the chestpiece with light pressure on the patient to hear low frequency sounds; press a little more to hear higher frequency sounds. Soft- sealing ear tips conform to individual ears for optimal comfort and excellent sound occlusion. The 3M Littmann CORE Stethoscope works with Eko software on iOS and Android devices, giving you a HIPAA compliant means to save and annotate 15, 30, 60 or 120-second recordings in a secure dashboard. Create a library of heart sounds to monitor the progressions of a disease or for education, and securely share recordings with colleagues. 140X amplification based on comparison of analog versus electronically assisted amplified listening with maximum volume at the peak frequency (125 Hz). This was a game changer for me. The volume settings are amazing. Sound is so crisp and clean. Easy to use with just a push of a button you open up a world of sound quality that can not be matched. I hear everything. It allows greater accuracy in your assessments. It is heavier than the normal stethoscope so be mindful. It also needs to be charged before use. I actually debated about buying for a long time because of the price. A coworker that is hearing impaired uses this so she can function as a nurse with her disability and recommended it to us all. It's a purchase you will not regret. Technology is ever changing as is nursing. We need to match its speed in all aspects. This changed my mind about a lot of products available out there that make our job easier. I won't be falling behind anymore. I added many new electronic items to my nursing bag now. Love this. Other stethoscopes feel like Fisher Price and will never go back. It’s literally like having a microphone against the patient. I can’t compare it with other digital options and don’t even bother to pair it with my phone. I am a RN and it helps me feel confident with assessments.

I’ve had this stethoscope for 3 months and it’s made an absolute world of difference for me! I work in Family Medicine doing manual blood pressures every day. I have some hearing loss in both ears so my regular Littmann Classic III wasn’t a great fit for me most of the time. This has really been a game changer for me at work, because of the adjustable/amplified volume. It has other features, that I personally do not use, so I can’t speak to those. I haven’t NEEDED to charge it yet, because I switch it off when I’m done using it, in between patients. For me this stethoscope is amazing because of the ability to adjust the volume. It does need to be turned on to pair with the app, which is how I check the battery life. I don’t use the app for anything else really though, personally. It’s not heavy like I expected. I wear it around my neck all day long and the weight doesn’t bother me. The tubing has held up surprisingly well too, as I keep my stethoscope kind of folded up in a carrying case when I’m not using it. Overall I feel like this was worth the money I spent on it!! It’s an investment for me to do my job well, with confidence and accuracy. Hope this helps someone! ... show more

Well made, easy to use, and clear. My old cardiology stethoscope was hard to hear at times and about 8 years old. When I switched to critical care and pulmonology this stethoscope made it easy to hear everything. Battery life lasts about 2-3 weeks between charges which is good.

Excellent sound pick up. It has a battery device that can be turned on for better sound pick up. It was better sound pick up when turned on than the cheaper model Littman I bought the other day. However, I was disappointed to find out that since I am not a licensed medical professional it is not possible to get on the EKO ap where you can monitor heartbeats and they give you a read out. So, I just wanted to let people know this before they buy it. I do however plan to keep it since it picks up sound quite a lot better than the cheaper model that cost just a little over a hundred dollars. So if you are not a licensed medic don't expect to get a 40 magnification, that is with Bluetooth and the EKO ap only. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The product itself is good, there’s been a noticeable huge difference when listening to someones lungs and heart beat, but my only concern is the subscription cost so much money $119/yearly to be able to save the recordings… otherwise its good
