This chair is as good if not better than all of the positive reviews have indicated. It is comfortable, compact, and attractive. It is very easy to attach the legs; just screw them on, no tool is necessary. The box says, which surprised me, that it is made in Vietnam (amazingly not in China, like most everything else that I order). As others have indicated, it is not too hard and not too soft, just perfect. I like the low back and arms. I am happy with these pretty chairs. First, I bought one & I liked it so much I bought another one. Very sturdy & a great bargain! I did order 10-inch legs to replace the 7-inch legs that come with the chair. I did this so they would be easier to get in and out of and I was amazed at how much larger the new legs made the chair look. The second picture shows the longer legs on one of the chairs.
