White sand is the right size for it. I have a 3200 PSI presuee washer Also use a barrel layed on the ground (clean) to put the parts, so the sand do not fly all over.(when the sand dries out it can be re used. I use an strainer to remove any big debre. Move it slow, very close to the part 2 inches. Keep the hose raise so the water will not go up to the hose. Very important to use eye glases and a hat. Sand can land on the head. The parts come out perfect clean and no scratches. Use W2-40, after it dries, to prevent the part to rust, as it will have no coating. I will recomend to prime the parts or use restoleum to be protected. They look like new. I do recomend the product. After using it many times. I see how efective it is.

This doesn’t work at all. I have a medium grade dry sand and it won’t feed more than a few inches up the nozzle.

Not sure what’s going on with mine but it’ll put water back in sand tube. Did that once and I haven’t used it since as it’s cold. I’ll try again and hopefully have better results

Pros: No dust compared to regular sand blasting. Kit includes extras if necessary. Nozzle is large enough that you can use regular play sand without straining it. Cons: Must keep your sand is hard to do when the water sometimes back flows into the sand tube. Recommendation: keep an air compressor nearby to blow out the tube if it gets clogged/ wet. A large nail was necessary to clear blockages from the ceramic nozzle. This only happened 3 times over 8 bags of sand, it was a small stone. Immediately caused back flow into the sand tube. And finally, cut down the sand tube to the minimum length to maximize flow.

My pressure washer sandblasting kit arrived today, and I am very impressed with the quality of the parts. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but if the weather holds out, I plan to give it a go on several old metal lawn chairs that are in need of being refinished.

Works well on large itens-not so much on small. It has a tendency to blow them away. Also super messy. Iwas using glass beads. I will be switching back to my normal sand blaster.

Really didn't expect this to have enough power, but for 30 bucks I had to try it on my project before investing in something much bigger. It worked great- took chrome off and down to the base metal.
