The animals didn't seem to notice it in the water (3 dogs, 3 cats). However, my precious princess of a Pointer broke out around her mouth. She is allergic to many things, including people dander. If you don't have animals with allergy problems, you will be fine, I'm sure. My pupper is just a delicate flower, though. I haven't used it long enough to know of it works. ... show more

I got this in hopes of it helping my cat's teeth. I love that it's natural. It took a day, seriously, to get the pump to come out from the bottle. So grateful the moment it happened. I put one pump in my hand, and found that it smells rather astringent. I put it in her water but she is very finicky when it comes to her water and does not want to drink it with the formula in it. Sigh... Also, i find I'm 'itchy' around this, I'm unsure why... Hard to tell if she won't drink the water, I don't want to give it to her directly as it's clear from the instructions it is to be diluted. ... show more

I have not seen a different nor in the breath and I used for a month or more. I used the recommended amount but no difference.

I've been using these dental additives for my dog for years. I'm not convinced that they work but sinc it's impossible to brush her teeth, I think this is the next best thing. What I really like about this one is that it comes with a pump dispenser. So convenient to add into her water versus my old brand where I was estimating "capful's". I also like that it's colorless versus my old brand which was blue. And no scent to this either! My old brand smelled of mint and when I would fill the waterbowl, it would bubble. This product has no bubbling and I feel like no color or scent can only be a step up. Will need to complete the entire bottle to determine if I see any improvement from use. ... show more
