The bananas & cream protein shake tastes pretty much like bananas and cream, no surprise, but for anyone wondering what its aftertaste is, it LITERALLY, and I really mean it, tastes like the banana hard fruit candy you'd get from the quarter candy machine. So just be aware that you'll be hit with that after every swig. Personally, I think the product is best used in moderation to break up the flavor fatigue you get from drinking vanilla/chocolate shakes day after day. Also the consistency is not too watery and it has a slight thickness/creaminess to it. You can also chug the whole shake if you only want to deal with the aftertaste once. ... show more

I dont absolutely love any one Premier Protein drink in particular, but I do like them all enough that I keep a supply on hand. I used to just use the as an addition to my 2nd cup of coffee (like a creamer), or as a part of a meal. Never satisfying on its own--something I find true of all protein drinks. Flavors are mild, could be stronger. Yet still tastes nice enough that I always have a selection on hand. I tried the Bananas & Cream because I wondered if it would taste extra nice blended with ice, like a milk shake. It does a fair job. So then I moved on to using it as a base for making a pint of ice cream in my Ninja Creami. I add some eggwhites or whole egg, some guar or xanthan, added sweetener (allulose) and some flavor extract (here, banana). Cold further dulls flavors, so I aim to boost it without throwing off macros. I use egg to boost protein and creaminess. Now I have purchased other summery flavors such as their Lemon Bar, Orange Creamcicle, more of this banana, and Cookies & Cream. Really nice to EAT my protein drink rather than mindlessly gulp it down. It allows me to have ice cream every single day. I eat high protein, moderate fat, ultra low carb (carnivore/ketovore). Things like this help satisfy texture desires, and since I love ice cream all day any day, I havent had to avoid it. This way of eating is for life, and I am keeping ice cream in it. 80+ lbs down and fantastic lab work keeps me coming back for more. I also use a variety of protein powders(Eqip,Ancestral,Ketogenics), and I like OWYN liquid drinks (used same way), but that is primarily it. Then other foods I eat are proteins (beef, sardines, some chicken, other fish), eggs, small amounts dairy. Some spices. This 4 pack is not greatly reasonable, but it isnt too bad as a means to just try out a flavor before getting a larger pack. Since I like it, I went ahead and ordered a case. I give 4 stars because flavor could be stronger and I never feel a sense of fullness. But it works for my needs and I keep getting it, so going with solid 4 stars. ... show more
