I had a second story shower leak. Thankfully it only damaged my ceiling in a closet below it when it was found. Figured I’d do an access door in case it leaked again and to avoid trying to match the ceiling drywall (both paint color and pattern wise. I suck at drywall repairs). This was the perfect size. Width wise it was exactly what I needed and length wise it covered entire area that had water damage that needed cut out. Plus it was the best price I had found. These panels are not as cheap as you’d think they would be. Super easy install and works like it should. Mounting in ceiling wasn’t an issue at all, but I did cut the hole so it would fit a little tight. I used some general adhesive caulking but probably could have gotten away with using nothing if I had wanted to. ... show more

This panel was a nice size and easy to install. Definitely need this to access your plumbing behind your bathtub/shower. Can be painted if need to blend into an already painted wall. Price was reasonable as well.

Mine were so late I ended up purchasing new ones at Lowes. I didn't realize you need to glue these into place. This is difficult in a ceiling application. The ones from Lowes were twice the cost but snap right into place. The extra cost is well worth the cost of glue and labor.
