I ordered this as a birthday gift for a friend's daughter that is really into crafting at the moment. She couldn't wait to get this out and start knitting. This is great for beginners; the instructions are easy to follow. This product is very easy to use.

The media could not be loaded. This hat and scarf loom knitting kit is perfect for kids and beginners. It comes with a large storage bag, a few blended pink and purple yarn, 2 pompoms, 1 looming circle tool, 1 knitting hook and 1 needle. My daughter wants to learn to knit and crochet but struggles with it, this set made her excited that she can finally do a hat or scarf and looks like she knitted it. It was easy for her to use and follow instructions after watching some videos on how to start it. She didn’t use the yarn in the kit yet because she felt the quality was a bit rough. Otherwise, she loves getting crafty with this kit.

This is really a pretty complete starter set. There are lots of crochet kits now geared towards kids with cute stuffed animals. I did find those being too difficult for kids unless they had better guidance or supervision with someone with more experience. With these, kids may still need some guidance, but doing a scarf or hat is much simpler. The included loom is easy to set up and use. Everything fits nicely in the storage box and has room for additional items and yarns. I thought the yarns were only ok quality and have already gotten more yarns from stores to make better scarfs.

THIS IS PERFECT FOR THE TWEEN THAT IS WANTING TO LEARN HOW TO KNIT. IT'S GOT EVERYTHING YOU WILL NEED AND IS VERY USER FRIENDLY IN THAT IT EXPLAINS IN LAMEN TERMS THE STEPS NEEDED TO START THE PROCESS. THIS WOULD BE A GREAT GIFT IDEA FOR ANYONE WANTING TO LEARN THIS RELAXING HOBBY.

This is a really nice starter loom knitting set. It includes everything you need to get started on your first project and the storage bag is a very nice bonus. It is advertised more toward kids but I think it is a good set for adults who are interested in learning how to loom knit as well. I would recommend for anyone over six.

Yes, this kit is ultimately marketed toward kids, but it's a great starter for anyone looking for a low-stress hobby to pick up! Pros: All materials were packed inside the carrying case, with only one plastic bag for the pegs. I appreciate the waste reduction! There is a QR Code pointing to to the instructional video. Significant amount of yarn (4 rolls) to practice with before taking on bigger projects so you can start right when you open instead of making a trip to the store. I was able to make a 12-inch section for a scarf from one roll of yarn. The hook tool is sturdy and well-made. Even my big adult hands had no problem using it. --- Cons: Children may need a little help pushing the pegs on the frame because they are a bit snug but assembly is otherwise very easy. I had problems understanding the written instructions but that could've just been me. I'm an adult and had to look up what was meant by "penultimate." I'm sure kids will definitely do the same. Video is helpful but the fast forwarding at important times makes you have to replay a part again and again to catch what the crafter is doing. NOTE: If you create the scarf you will absolutely need to replay the video a few times to finish it and remove it from the loom as the written instructions omitted these steps.
