The media could not be loaded. Hubs bought me this as a surprise and its not sturdy set up was easy it did not work well after 2 uses it stopped working if the machine sensed a slightest tension it turned off im so upset because i was super excited to use it

The yarn winder does not work at all. It is incredibly loud and when it experiences the slightest tension it stops working immediately. when it hits actual snags it keeps going and wraps the yarn around the base while making a horrible grinding sound. The tension of the ball is inconsistent and the spring does not actually hold the yarn in place like I thought it would. I thought this would be more convenient and quieter than my older manual winder but I will be sticking with my old reliable winder instead of this.

Only giving 2 stars because of the price and it does come as described. The winder doesn't work properly it stops after about 30 seconds even if there isn't a tension issue. I could only get it to wind longer on high speed and that still wasn't a guarantee.

Recieved today. Was so excited. Worked great for the 1st yarn ball...then wasted 4 hours fought it every other try with the same yarn weight and type. Even after reading all of the paperwork to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong, still could not get a yarn ball no matter what I tried. It just bunches up, makes 2 balls at once, or gets wrapped up under the base. Save your money. Buy a manual yarn winder or make your own by hand and save yourself the frustration and time! This is a worthless, sorry excuse of a product and I will be returning it immediately.

It's okay. It works well if it's mounted to a heavy stable surface. Occasionally it will wind the balll erratically where you have to deranged to yarn. It almost creates more work.
