The media could not be loaded. I have it in my bedroom, it goes for a little over a day until you need to add water (room humidity dependent of course), you can tell if it's too low because it gets a little bubbly and makes a fizzy noise. Otherwise, the motor is a pretty quiet hum, and you mainly just hear the water. The little light in the bottom pool also makes cool water patterns on the ceiling when the room is dark. Highly recommend adding water to it after you place it where you want it, because it holds a bit of water and thus gets rather heavy.

I was initially disappointed in this water fountain. It just looks cheap but after dressing it up I like it more! The rocks are all slate gray and the base is black. I added some white rocks to it and it looks very nice now! I was hoping it looked more like rocks than it does! It was easy to setup and seems to work fine. Now lets see how it stand the test of time. I will update this review in 3 months!

This thing helps my wife and I relax at the end of a long day. We’ve used it quite a bit in the couple months we’ve had it. No leaks just change the water frequently so it doesn’t get stinky. It’s not too noisy and doesn’t pump water so fast that it splashes

It’s nice and works nice but smells heavily if chemicals I don’t know what was used to design or paint but it is extremely foul smelling and strong. Can not get the smell of with anything return window closed by the time I opened and realized disappointed and I can’t use this.. it will make you sick to inhale

The material is very flimsy and mine had a broken piece of hard plastic in the water tube. The motor attachment would not fit in the tube and there was no place to put the tiny lightbulb (not that I would have used it). Had to return it.

The media could not be loaded. All of my coworkers love coming to my desk to watch this fountain. There is a slight hum from the motor but the water sound covers it well. The water flow can be higher or lower which will change the way the water sounds. Instructions weren’t very clear but didn’t take long to figure it out.
