Everything I needed for a complete brake job on a 2013 CRV. All hardware including the spring clips made installation a breeze. I've used Powerstop pads in the past with good results. These ususally last 30k+ depending on driving style. To extend life on any set of brake pads is to remove, clean and re-apply lube where needed them at least every 15k... and re-assemble. ... show more

I absolutely love these brakes! It's been 2 years, 35k miles and mayyybe halfway worn down, if that. But I don't live on flat land. I drive upstate NY to NC often, which means lots of mountains, and where I live the 10 min drive to town is a 1200 ft elevation drop, so I'm on the brakes going down steep hills A LOT! Granted, I am a very conscientious driver, especially since I do all my own car maintenance, so I'm not slamming on brakes like a maniac bad driver, but I've had to avoid some accidents with heavy braking on these and they haven't shown any symptoms of warping or uneven wear. Anyways... The install - went fantastic and all the hardware fit perfectly. Which is not something I can say for the Duralast Ceramic I installed prior. The pic I included shows the comparison between the clips. With the Duralast I had to go back and grind down the inner parts bc they were too tight to the rotors and squealed all the time, and generally didn't fit very well. Nothing like having to fix a brake job because of crappy part fitment! However, that wasn't the case with the Powerstops! Now being in the "Rust Belt" I opted for the GeoMet treated rotors, and it's proven to be highly effective at combating the insane salt of Upstate NY (it's even in the air here and has caused rust on my summer classic car's interior pieces! that never sees winter weather). I will recommend taking the time to fully clean out all the old grease in the pin slide tunnels of the caliper brackets, and the rubber boots.. everything. Fresh grease throughout and good coating for clip slides has my old CR-V braking better than a new car. Seriously, these things clamp strong and stay smoother than any brakes I've ever used in my 20+ years of automotive work and driving experience. My fiance was so impressed that we got the same setup for her Subaru Baja and it's given me peace of mind for her safety. Conclusion - spend the money on these and have brakes that you can depend on for a long time. Heck, it might even be the thing that saves your life or others'. ... show more
