This mower stalls out in thick Bermuda grass no matter the mower height. Also cuts very unevenly. Our yard looks terrible! Trying to return.

Have only used it three times so the durability is to be determined. It has been performing well so far, cutting grass easily for the most part when self Propelled is engaged. Usually starts on one pull after the initial prim / choke use. The bagging system good but it would be nice if it had a side discharge option - have not used the mulch function. It's a bit on the loud side compared to the previous Troy-Bilt 21" push mower used, which lasted ~ 10yrs until the front wheel assembly broke. ... show more

I purchased this machine in November 2025 (end of season). When cutting the lawn for the third time this season, the rubber piece that protects the person pushing the lawn mower from anything shooting out from underneath fell off and shot out. I didn’t expect this on a new machine. I have ordered a new piece and was told it would ship and it has yet to arrive. It’s been at least 3 cuttings since; once a week. They couldn’t even provide the nuts or bolts as they are out of stock. Guess what; they fell off and they shouldn’t have. The customer service is to be desired. The machine is also not that great; lacks power, backfires periodically upon starting, smokes, etc. I wasn’t even going to write this but now I’m frustrated and don’t want anyone to have such a bad experience with this unit. ... show more
