I purchased this machine in November 2025 (end of season). When cutting the lawn for the third time this season, the rubber piece that protects the person pushing the lawn mower from anything shooting out from underneath fell off and shot out. I didn’t expect this on a new machine. I have ordered a new piece and was told it would ship and it has yet to arrive. It’s been at least 3 cuttings since; once a week. They couldn’t even provide the nuts or bolts as they are out of stock. Guess what; they fell off and they shouldn’t have. The customer service is to be desired. The machine is also not that great; lacks power, backfires periodically upon starting, smokes, etc. I wasn’t even going to write this but now I’m frustrated and don’t want anyone to have such a bad experience with this unit. ... show more

    • Minor but irretating breakage on a plastic part of the mower on arrival.
Order and delivery went off without a hitch. Slight damage to the mower. Under the top dust cover over the pull rope uptake are three places where the screws go that hold the cover on. Two on the front, one to the rear. Underneath the cover the place on the rear where the screw goes was sheared off of the assembly ant the cover flaps like crazy. It has shaken so bad that one of the screws on the front worked itself loose and now has been lost. I am going to try to crazy glue the broken piece back onto the assembly but it may not hold with all the vibration. This is something that should have been caught at the factory in a quality control check. Not happy... Otherwise the mower works well. It is the second PowerSmart Mower that I have owned and I am sorry to say that the quality level has dropped since I purchased my first one somewhat. ... show more

Love the large back wheels and ease of moving mower around. Easy start and leveling of mower very easy. At 88 years old and still mowing, it is a perfect mower for me.
