My yard chews up lawn mowers & spits them back out. I got tired of spending a lot of money on the expensive "made in the USA" mowers only to have them break after just 2 years. I picked up this made in china mower for almost half the price & it has been running strong. It starts on the first or 2nd pull every time! It is clear that they cut some corners by using cheap plastic wheels, but I'm okay with that. This mower is simple to operate. No choke or priming, just pull the cord, and start mowing.

I really wanted to keep this mower. It was light and easy to use. Unfortunately the primer system broke after THREE USES. Spoke to Amerisun about possible repair and they were unable to help. They did not have any local dealers capable of making a repair and expected me TO DO THE REPAIR MYSELF!! So I'm left with either returning a broken and useless mower which is a major hassle or keeping it and paying for the repair myself which is unacceptable for a machine that broke so quickly. I hope others can learn from my mistake. When buying major appliances like this online make sure you know what you're getting yourself into and do your research so that you're covered if the item breaks.

This review goes for the gas 144cc I'm happy with my purchase. I highly RECOMMEND this lawnmower! It was well packaged easy to install. It took a while for it to crank the first time I'm assuming it was due to no fuel in lines during shipment but the very next day I pulled string once and it cranked with no hesitation. The mulch bag is wonderful and after my first cut the yard looked amazing!
