When you use the self propelled it goes to fast and when you use the bagger the dirt flies everywhere. I can't cut the grass with the self propelled it goes to fast and I can't keep it with it. The self propelled quit working and its hard to push. I wouldn't advise anyone to buy one. I'm stuck with it because it can't be returned. It cost $350 and it doesn't work so I'm just out of what it cost.

The mower works good. The self-propelled is faster and you have to speed up to keep up with the mower. With out the self-propelled engaged, the mower pushes very good. The place to insert oil is very difficult to hold a funnel and pour the oil in the hole. It is a good mower to trim the yard with. Thanks for a reasonable priced mower.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but buyers need to be aware of this experience. I purchased this PowerSmart lawn mower in March along with an extended warranty. Due to timing, I didn’t start using it until early May—and after only three uses, it completely stopped working. For a brand-new mower, that is unacceptable. What’s even worse than the product failure is the complete lack of support. I’ve been given the runaround between every party involved: Amazon told me to contact PowerSmart The warranty company told me to contact PowerSmart PowerSmart then tried to send me back to Amazon No one is taking responsibility, even though PowerSmart is the manufacturer of a mower that simply does not work. At this point, I’ve spent more time trying to get help than I did actually using the mower. A product should not fail this quickly, and customers should not have to chase multiple companies just to get a resolution. If you’re considering this mower, be aware that if something goes wrong, you may be left with no real support and no solution. Very disappointed.

Some simple setup, added gas and oil (it comes with a bottle of oil - nice bonus) and it started right up on 2nd pull. It is light and with the tires the way they are made, pretty easy to push around. I was impressed with how little gas I had to use to mow a good sized section of yard. The rubber flap on the back of the mower didn't stay on very well but I didn't need or want it and it wasn't hard to remove. The discharge chute will pop off if you bump it to hard (say on a tree) but it also is easy to hook back on. Overall very pleased with this little push mower.

My mistake, I did not see that grass comes out the back, I prefer a side dispenser. As I was showing my neighbor what I ordered, he made me aware of this. I tried to cancel the order and it was too late. As soon as I go it, I tried to return unopened, but it is non refundable (you don’t even have the option to pay for shipping). The pull is strong and you don’t have to push it, but it’s hard to turn tight curves. When I first started it up, gas was pouring out of the gas cap. My neighbor works on lawn mowers and said the gasket around the bottom of the cap was upside down. Once he took it off and put back on correctly, it stopped. It was easy to put together and comes with oil. I could hardly lift the grass catcher when it’s was full and had a hard time emptying. It runs good and easy to crank, but I probably should have paid more attention to the details before ordering.

Excellent quality lawn mower! It has been very durable—we use it about twice a month and it works perfectly every time. It’s not too heavy, which makes it easy to handle. Even my 11-year-old son helps mow the lawn with it. Very user-friendly and reliable. We are very happy with this purchase!
