Our new lawn mower arrived 2 days early and in great condition! Thanks UPS. We checked our instructions and were delighted to find it was easy to assemble. Starts on the first or second pull. It cuts very well. We have about a 1 1/2 acre yard and it tends to be wet (swampy). The tires did not get great traction in the really wet areas, but everywhere else it did just fine. The self-propel is very responsive. Also, a note**, they recommend you use regular 10W-30 oil, which was different from my previous mower, which had a combination of oil and gas mix. This is more convenient, as I can get that anywhere. Also, took advantage of the five payment plan, no interest, any credit card. That was a big help!

Comes pretty much put together, just tighten up the handle and add oil. Looks great and well built. It does weigh a bit though. I'm going to mow later will update this review! We'll I used it today and got to say, it cuts nice, the self propelled mower does a great job and isn't too slow maybe going up a slope it's slow otherwise it's not bad. Used about a half tank of gas for 1/2 and acre or a bit more. Started with one pull several times after dumping the bag and first start. Cut even and straight lines although self propelled wheels will spin sometimes on wet or light misted grass. Cleans up rather easily with a hose after mowing. It does weigh a bit to move around without the self propelled wheels moving. Overall I'd recommend and buy this mower again runs smoothly and isn't too loud, but is a gas mower so it's louder than an electric mower!

Like I said, the lift lever was found in the bottom of the box. We bought this in February and it's past time to return. The box arrived undamaged so we assumed everything was OK. The mower has no damage to explain how this lever broke off. The wheels. The deck are perfect. Now, let the fun begin. I call customer service. It has a 2 year warranty. Well I need to register it before I can order the part. So, I make a second call and send them the receipt and information they need. Now, I don't know if and when they will send the part. But on closer inspection, this part was riveted on. There's no way I can get the end out to put a new one In. The wheel will have to be taken off and the broken piece remaing drilled out. This is factory work. I can't do this myself. I don't have the tools. My husband and I are not in the best of health. That's why I wanted self propelled. It's a small yard and I thought it would be manageable. It would if the mower worked. Well it does. I bought gas and oil and started it up before realizing there was no way to lift the deck. It started the first pull. I worked in small engine parts and repair. Mowers were the main business along with chainsaws. I know the work needed here. It's not an easy fix. Meanwhile, my grass has that spring growth spurt going on. So I was faced with hiring a lawn service or getting another mower. I rented one just to get my lawn in order before the city slaps a fine on me. Yes, they do that here. And the one I rented did a fine job. The best first cut I've ever seen. I did all this after coming home from work. It was a long day but had to be done. I'll update if it's needed. But that's my story with this mower. It does start on a dime. I'll give it that. But I'm not happy being out $400.00.

Where should I start, overall this was the most easiest process ever. For that price, it was worth every penny. Wasn’t hard to put together, plus after putting it together and using it the maneuverability is so efficient specially if you got a hill.

***not for long term use***Nice lawnmower for the price until the flap that holds the bagger in place comes apart, ON THE FIRST TIME USING IT, wow. There is no regular shoot for the grass to come out without the bagger. I had to pull out my 10 year old mower to finish. Too much of a hassle to send back. Since there is gas and oil in it. VERY DISAPPOINTED and now hundreds of dollars short

I ordered this lawnmower through Amazon, and I was so disappointed because like other reviews, the lover that raises and lowers, the deck was broke off. I immediately called the company rather than Amazon to see if I could get a replacement part they were on back order. So I then called Amazon and the representative that I visited with was more than helpful. He offered me a full refund and keep the lawnmower or I could keep the lawnmower and he’d send me a new one free of charge. I wasn’t really expecting that, but it was more than what most companies do. I do like the lawnmower, especially for the price point. It does a great job and it’s easy to start up usually on the first pole.

They didn't give a amount of oil as required by instructions. Really a good mower and the self drive is multi speed. Harder you clench the drive handle the faster it goes.
