These are relatively cheap in cost versus the other "wooden blinds" I have found. They hang up really nice, and bring the whole room together! They aren't actually wooden, they're made of a vinyl. The instructions were not easy for me to figure out, but my husband is great with stuff like this and he had no problems. There will be a box in the bottom of the long box that has your hardware, I thought we didn't receive it and was worried for a second. Wish they didn’t need as much force to pull down and the wand didn’t stick out as much as it does when they are all the way up, but they look fantastic and are solid enough to absorb lots of unwanted heat in my office from the western sun.

These are nicer than expected.They feel nice and thick,Not the thin flimsy ones that'll bend & crack.They are simple to install and Very easy to pull down and raise up.Best of all, because a set is in my bedroom, they keep a good amount of light and heat from the sun out.I'm sure my electric bill will love that.No complaints at all.I'm ordering more for other rooms. ... show more

Love the blinds, but had to hire a contractor to install. Not as easy as stated. So you might want to figure a contractor price when figuring total cost.
