  • Def recommended
Great for for my pc build, got nothing i need to build my custom pc. Def recommend this. I haven’t tried it out yet but when I do, I’m sure the cooling and performance will be great

Coil whine for the first days but went away. Solid temps from the white painted heatsink

  • Couldn’t be happier!
This GPU has really surprised me! I was nervous it wouldn’t be enough BUT, it’s paired with an AMD 7700x and it’s able to run a 34in widescreen at 4k for most games at a high enough frame rate that I literally don’t even think about it, and then on the other side of the room it runs triple 1080p monitors for a sim racing rig on iRacing, ACC, and LMU. Obv not at the same time as the widescreen but I have it set to switch with the push of a button. I also use it with Premier Pro/After Effects for video editing and rendering times are fast and efficient. I’m thoroughly impressed with it. ... show more

  • AMD IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN NVIDIA NOW?! Nope
Edit 12/31 It's sad that AMD drivers the #1 reason AMD can't beat Nvidia. I've talked with multiple people about this issue with AMD's drivers, but they call it misinfo or a faulty GPU. RX 7900 XTs no matter what brand will continue to black screen/timeout in any driver you install. AMD GPUs are faulty to the core and it's why they get so cheap. Reinstalled Windows 11/10 with different drivers to not resolve this issue that goes as far back as the RX 470. Edit Dec 21: I'm having some weird issues with drivers only when idle or browsing on different browsers where it will slowly stop my mouse cursor (locking up) and then freezes the screen. Maybe a black screen and an AMD Bug Issue Report about a TDR timeout, but mostly I have to force the PC off. Tried different cables, drivers, VBios switch, memory tests, and GPU tests. It games fine until it freezes randomly on a YouTube video. It's not everyday you see a GPU with 20GB of VRAM that used to be $900 at the low cost of $620 (I know). After going through GPU scalping and the coin/etherium boom with prices on GPUs rising I didn't want to go through that again. I made some money selling my old GPUs and had fun waiting for RTX 3XXX series drops on Best Buy, but with the measly 8GB on my RTX 3070 FE I needed more VRAM. Going from 4GB to 6GB to 8GB enough was enough... At first, I was scared of my 650w 80+ Gold PSU from MSI not having enough juice to run it and having the infamous coil whine you can find on any GPU (thankfully never had it). Then ppl scaring you about AMD GPUs, I had to find out myself. I had to remove front USB 3.0 and my SATA SSD to make room in my small mATX mid tower case (make sure of case specs). IT FITS! CPU power plug got unplugged while I was making room which lead to some remorse, but it is as efficient or better than my old card and super quiet with NO COIL WHINE (shipped from CANADA). The lights are beautiful on this card and doing the full install of drivers I had to learn how AMD drivers behave again. The software is so much better than before the redesign around the time of the RX 470. I no longer fear games taking up VRAM and I have several options for upscaling plus frame gen if any games give me trouble. We'll see what Nvidia and AMD offers in Q1 2025 before tariffs, but it won't be as good as this GPU except in maybe better RT and an exclusive feature. ... show more

  • Good card - coil whine
ONly caviat with this card so far is that it has coil whine. I know this isn't a brand specific issue, and it is to be expected to a certain degree when buying these cards. Overall, great temps, great looks (If you're buying a white GPU thats what you're after.) Backplate & Heatsink look great in my all white build. ... show more

  • Worth every dollar (bought during Black Friday deals)
I was opting for all black/dark colors when buying parts for my desktop but this was too good of a deal to pass up during Black Friday. This graphics card is a beast and has allowed me to finally play the games that I have been missing out on such as Cyberpunk 2077. So far there have been no performance issues and the noise level from the fans of this graphics card is not an issue (merges with the fans of the desktop's cooling system anyway). The support stand that came with the graphics card is black (as opposed to white) which is unfortunate but does not take anything away for me. ... show more

  • an awsome card
An amazing graphic card in both look and performance. The fact that I got just for 600 bucks before all the chaos started was just the cherry on top.
