Description

Turning stops automatically in the final 3 days to prevent over-rotation. Quickly and directly observe embryo development. Early (Day 1–18): Keep vent partially open for airflow. Hatching (Day 19–21): Open vent fully to ensure enough oxygen for chicks to hatch. Protects newly hatched chicks from snagging and slipping. Keeps their tiny feet safe and steady. After hatching, turn off the power. Clean the top cover and parts. Keep electrical parts dry - do not soak. Air dry all before storage. Foam box included. If ambient temp drops below 68℉ (20℃), cover the incubator with it to help maintain a stable temperature during incubation.

I love this incubator! It is so easy. I put 30 eggs in. When I candled at around 7 days, 2 eggs were infertile and one had stopped around day 3. We had a power outage at day 11. The incubator was off about 7 hours (part of that was my fault. Incubator is pretty idiot proof, but sometimes I am an idiot.) I candled again at day 17. 1 egg was iffy. I left it just in case. 24 of the 27 eggs hatched. They all hatched easily. Clean up afterwards was a breeze. My only complaint would be that the power cord does not fit very tightly. I think it is a little crooked. With the power outage especially, I am very impressed. I did a dry hatch until day 18. ... show more

Honestly the best incubator I have used so far. This incubator maintains itself beautifully. Basicly set it and forget it. (Obviously dont forget it, its hatching babies). We threw in 4 thermometers/hygrometer in various places and they were all pretty much reading the same. The incubator holds steady heat and humidity. Only hatched 3 of the 28 quail eggs we put in it but to be fair only 4 of the eggs turned out to have had anything in it. The rest we believe to have not been fertilized. Can't wait for spring to fill it up again with eggs. ... show more

My wife is the "chicken lady" of our house, and she is in love with this incubator. We have many chickens, in their own small barn, and it looks like we're going to have plenty more. She has it loaded up now, and it's real easy to use according to her. The parts seem to be good quality, and she loves the auto humidity feature. What she doesn't love is the inability to display the temperature in Fahrenheit rather that Celsius. If there is a way to switch it we have yet to find it. It's a nice unit, easy to keep clean, and isn't bad for the money, but having to calculate the temperature constantly is a downer, and it cost the unit a star. In all fairness it works pretty well so far, and it's not a bad deal at all, IF you can get used to converting your temps. I would still recommend it ! ... show more

    • Wish it would have worked
We sent the first one back because we had humidity issues. Tried to do the first part dry because we were having same issues with the second one. None hatched. So sad about this. Really wanted to be able to do a large hatch going to go back to smaller one that we had before. Window to return again is closed ... show more

Work great hold temp and humidity. Only thing that sucks it that the temp is in Celsius
