I've been burned by other Incubators that looked really good but didn't live up to their looks. This one is the real deal! The rails can be adjusted to fit different size eggs. Although it's designed for the eggs to lay on their sides, the top is high enough that shipped eggs could be stood upright for the first few days with the turner disengaged. The center area where the fan is would be a bit tight to do this with larger eggs, but there's plenty of room around the sides. I have three other well known brands of mid-size incubators, and this one has given me by far the best development and hatch rates this year! I love the visibility with the entire top being clear. I finally have an unobstructed view of the eggs as they hatch. It's also super easy to clean. The automatic humidity system is well thought out with the exception of the high/low alarm which can't be disengaged. I use the dry incubation method and don't add any water until day 18. The alarm would go off due to the natural fluctuations in humidity. I am also disappointed that the temperature display is only in Celsius and there doesn't seem to be a way to change it to Farhenheight. There also doesn't seem to be a way to recalibrate it. Mine is about one degree off, so I just set it one degree higher. According to the two hygrometer/thermometer units I have in there, this incubator holds it's temperature beautifully. Even with the issues I mentioned, I still gave this incubator five stars because everything else about it is fantastic. Now I just have to wait until someone makes hatching dividers for this model... It shouldn't be too long, I think. I will be recommending this unit to my egg customers going forward.

Fantastic engineering. I own another incubator of this same size and capacity (foam box). It is absolutely slammed pack with incredible features. It has automatic humidity control via small water pump dripping into sponge tray located near the heating element and circulation fan. Which is a far superior way to put humidity in air rather than fog into a box. The solid plastic allows easy sterilization. The solid clear top portion makes examining an egg as easy as it gets. I'm not super impressed by the egg turner however it has ample space to install after market egg turners. Has a great feature with hand hold at the base to allow easy transfer and holding with hands as others I am familiar with do not. The does works great to bump up humidity when needed. Room temperature control is needed to help this maintain proper humidity and temperature due to the plastic surrounding.

This is a pretty nice incubator. It's a good size and holds a LOT of quail eggs or chicken eggs, perfect for a small beginning breeder wanting to add to their numbers, or for someone like me that wants to hatch chicks for selling. It was very easy to get set up and held both temperature and humidity well throughout the entire 21 day test hatch I put it through. I love how hands off it is, so I never forget to do something and accidentally mess up the hatch. Very happy!

Just starting the first batch of eggs with this new incubator. The unit shows temp in Celsius, manual shows Fahrenheit. I'd like to change unit display to Fahrenheit, but nothing for that in the manual or online, and no luck finding customer support number or link. So, I'm concerned product won't actually be supported.

This is a functional, well made egg incubator. It's easy to set up and use. It provides the perfect amount of heat and atmosphere for hatching eggs. It's easy to keep clean. I think it's a great value.

My wife is the "chicken lady" of our house, and she is in love with this incubator. We have many chickens, in their own small barn, and it looks like we're going to have plenty more. She has it loaded up now, and it's real easy to use according to her. The parts seem to be good quality, and she loves the auto humidity feature. What she doesn't love is the inability to display the temperature in Fahrenheit rather that Celsius. If there is a way to switch it we have yet to find it. It's a nice unit, easy to keep clean, and isn't bad for the money, but having to calculate the temperature constantly is a downer, and it cost the unit a star. In all fairness it works pretty well so far, and it's not a bad deal at all, IF you can get used to converting your temps. I would still recommend it !

This incubator is the Boss!!! It has a double humidity system. I really like the way it wicks the water it needs, so nice to keep steady humidity. I was impressed with the controls, that you can set the humidity level (and temp) that you would like. If it deviates too much it WILL alarm. We could never figure out how to set the days. This is a nice, quality, large capacity incubator.

I bought this 48-egg incubator thinking, “Cool, I’ll hatch a few chickens.” What I actually did was open a poultry daycare with zero qualifications and 48 new screaming dependents. The incubator? Fantastic. Holds temperature better than I hold my life together. Humidity stayed rock solid once I figured out that "don't open the lid every 4 minutes" is not just a suggestion. The automatic turner? A true MVP. I didn’t have to manually spin each egg like I was baking omelets every day. Come hatch day, it was like nature’s most chaotic popcorn machine. Eggs started cracking, chicks started yelling, and I started questioning every life choice that led to this moment. I now have 48 tiny chickens, a cardboard brooder the size of a small nation, and a rooster named Derek who already has attitude. This machine works too well. Highly recommend if you're ready to commit to the feathery lifestyle, build a coop, maybe a second coop, and possibly start naming them like Pokémon.
