Honestly the best incubator I have used so far. This incubator maintains itself beautifully. Basicly set it and forget it. (Obviously dont forget it, its hatching babies). We threw in 4 thermometers/hygrometer in various places and they were all pretty much reading the same. The incubator holds steady heat and humidity. Only hatched 3 of the 28 quail eggs we put in it but to be fair only 4 of the eggs turned out to have had anything in it. The rest we believe to have not been fertilized. Can't wait for spring to fill it up again with eggs.

My wife is the "chicken lady" of our house, and she is in love with this incubator. We have many chickens, in their own small barn, and it looks like we're going to have plenty more. She has it loaded up now, and it's real easy to use according to her. The parts seem to be good quality, and she loves the auto humidity feature. What she doesn't love is the inability to display the temperature in Fahrenheit rather that Celsius. If there is a way to switch it we have yet to find it. It's a nice unit, easy to keep clean, and isn't bad for the money, but having to calculate the temperature constantly is a downer, and it cost the unit a star. In all fairness it works pretty well so far, and it's not a bad deal at all, IF you can get used to converting your temps. I would still recommend it !

We sent the first one back because we had humidity issues. Tried to do the first part dry because we were having same issues with the second one. None hatched. So sad about this. Really wanted to be able to do a large hatch going to go back to smaller one that we had before. Window to return again is closed

We ordered this Cheeglu 48-egg incubator to loan out to local elementary school classes for science lessons, and it has been a great choice so far. It’s simple enough for students and teachers to understand, but still has the essential features needed for a successful hatch. The automatic temperature and humidity control takes a lot of the stress out of incubation, especially for beginners. The auto-turning system and hatch countdown are fantastic teaching tools. Students love watching the progress and learning how each stage works. The fact that it automatically stops turning for the last three days is a great safety feature. One of the best parts is the clear 360° lid, which lets the whole class watch the chicks as they hatch. The built-in egg candler has also been a big hit; kids really enjoyed seeing the embryos grow. Setup was straightforward, and the LCD display makes adjusting settings easy. We also like the auto-refill system for humidity, which removes the need to open the incubator to add water constantly. Why it works well in the classroom: Automated temperature, humidity, and turning make it easy for beginners Transparent lid and egg candler are perfect for educational observation Large 48-egg capacity works great for group projects Simple controls and clear display We’re excited to keep rotating this through different classes, and at this price, it’s an excellent value for schools, 4-H programs, or anyone just getting started with hatching.
