Beastly card for a great price
(Will update review if anything changes) First and foremost. Yes, the cooler on this thing is absolutely enough. Just make sure to have some airflow and not death valley like ambient temps. Also important to note is this card has a 186w power limit. From my internet searches it seems like about 1/3 or so of 6700xt models have this wattage limit. This doesn't effect performance at all if you compare it to other cheaper models without the watt limit. Now for my personal thoughts: I'd say it gets a little loud. According to multiple monitoring softwares, the fans go up to 3200 rpm during unlocked fps gaming. This does keep the temps around 67-74c (88-92c junc temp) though so its not the worst tradeoff. But if you have open back headphones like i do, you'll hear your pc the entire gaming session just whirring away. But thankfully it is not loud enough to be picked up on even sensitive microphones like mine. I love the aesthetics of the cooler design. It fits well in a non rgb minimalist build. My only possible complaint is I may have issues with the drivers. You might have heard about the February drivers bricking windows, thankfully i avoided that, but one thing that hasn't been fixed with the 6700xt specifically is display corruption when using multiple monitors. Users have been complaining about this for a while, and i suspect its not going to be fixed anytime soon as AMD kinda neglects their small driver team. I'm hoping this is just monitor issues as I'm replacing my current one with a new 1440p monitor. Will find out within the next couple of days once it arrives and i can play around with it for a bit. Overall an awesome card. I hope to have many great gaming sessions with this thing. Not sure how long ill be able to get decent 1440p performance, but at least for now its a very competent option in the gpu market ... show more

Used model better than I expected. Runs Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 with 40-60FPS on 1440p
Review Image by Galileo
I was pleasantly surprised to see this card run MSFS2020 with totally usable refresh rates. I'm new to AMD Video cards and not fully familiar with Adrenaline SW setup yet. First use today. This 6700XT seems to work really well with V-Sync On(No tearing), limited to max monitor refresh rate. It MSFS2020 Detects a Max Dell monitor refresh rate of 60HZ instead of 75Hz it's capable of. I (think) I got MSFS2020 to even use FSR2.0 successfully. I thought MSFS only supported DLSS so far. A Pleasant surprise. The Best thing is the price. $309 for a used item that looks like brand new. It worked really well on a $129 R5-Matisse-3600+Asus-MB combo from Microcenter. 3600 does not seem to bottleneck the GPU at 1440p as the GPU is 99% busy on Ultra settings. 6700XT max power is 185W normal, and 200W while overclocked. R5 3600 Max CPU Package was 75W. My 10 year old OCZ PSU had two cables: 1 x 8 and 1x6. Perfect for this card. Did not have 2 x 8pin cables as on other GPU models. I've only used this 6700xT a couple of hours now. It worked so well I wanted to share the good news ASAP. Unigine Heaven 4.0 results in photo. Not sure how it compares to other 6700XT models as was not able to easily find the results online. Please share where to find them if you know. This PC is naturally slower than than my 12600K with Asus TUF 3080 12GB PC but while flying, I can't really tell the difference, unless over a city with a lot of buildings (like New York), all while consuming much less power (~275W) than the 3080 alone (354W). This is totally an underrated card, esp. that newer games do not work well with cards that have less memory than the 12G on this 6700XT. Card Temp around 76C while gaming. Junction max temp got up to 99C. I changed the FAN profile in MSI Afterburner to make the fans run more aggressively (they got louder but no problem with music from simulator). Max GPU Junction Temp then dropped below 95C. With FSR2.0, the max GPU utilization drops significantly below 99%. This GPU looks like a keeper. Will let my son put it thru its paces next using Minecraft max settings on 1440P, minus Ray Tracing, which he prefers not to use even on the 3080 12GB. ... show more

Seems like the best price to performance ratio in early 2023
Good card for the money (compared to everything else at least, paid $370). Lets me game @ 1440p ultrawide with solid frame rates on ultra settings with my 8700k cpu (60+ usually quite a bit higher). Small form factor and very clean looking, smaller than the rx580 I upgraded from. Hot spot temps are right around low to mid 80s under full load usually (I have a high air flow full tower so your mileage may vary if you are using a small case) and even during the D4 beta which was completely 100%ing the card 100% of the time due to poor optimization it was only hitting 89c hot spot (max before thermal throttling is 110c). There may be some fan whine at high rpms, but I don't hear it all with my open back headphones, isn't any louder than the rest of the fans in my case and is a non issue for me. All in all I am happy with the purchase and will consider PowerColor in future gpu purchases. ... show more

Great 1080p Max Settings High Frame Rate or 1440p Max Settings 60fps GPU
I have used this card for several years as in my main gaming desktop PC. If you can get it at a good price then you have a very good graphics card that can max out almost every game at 1080p at high frame rates or 1440p max settings with a respectable 60fps. The 12gb of VRAM has really proved to be a highlight of this GPU in the current climate of poorly optimized games, more VRAM is better and helps with longevity. As for software, AMD adrenaline is fine in it's current iteration, it has everything you need and looks fine. The 2026 situation: 1440p -> 1080p. I run this on a setup with a Ryzen 5600 and 32gb RAM and I can say my GPU is rarely bottlenecked by the system however even then there is a trend among current generation of games that overly rely on upscaling and because of this I find newly released AAA or unoptimized games you are FORCED to use upscaling at 1440p or do what I do, and opt for 1080p instead. So keep in mind, on release this GPU was a 1440p beast in 2026, it's still a beast but that beast depends on the game. This is just the sad state of AAA PC gaming, you need monstrous hardware to run games natively, so if you buy this GPU you MUST be okay with using FSR. Indies games, emulators, esports titles, they all run great very high FPS. ... show more

Great, Quiet GPU That beats Out The Nvidia 3060s and Goes Toe-to-To with the 3070s
I have been a long-term Nvidia GPU user on linux (Arch Linux btw) for years, I mean years. I bought a 1660 Super in 2020 (a good card btw) but decided it was time to upgrade. After reading about and viewing all the benchmarks against the 3060's (including Ti) and sometimes beating the 3070, or coming just under 5-10fps, I knew I wanted a 3700 XT, especially for the price-point. Always leery of buying used cards (crypto-mining) but I saw this card on Amazon Warehouse deal at a cheap price. I figured no mining given the return policy and AW tests their products before selling them. I couldn't be happier, card didn't look like it was even out of the package, installed, linux recognized the drivers from the kernel. Installed all the other Mesa/radeon drivers according to the Arch wiki, and I was playing Witcher 3 like a boss in minutes. Card is quiet, even while gaming, small like my 3060 super, temps are in the 50's, while the 1660 was in 40's while idle, not much of a difference. Card can even do 4k. I haven't played around with Ray Tracing but they say you really want a 3080 or equivalent AMD card for that. I use a 650w psu and you will need the 8+6 psu-vga power connectors, no issues with power. I highly recommend this card. ... show more

Great Card
After using Nvidia graphics for years, I found myself disappointed with the RTX 3060. It was a great card for modern games, but for a lot of older titles, I had stuttering in the opening videos. Why? I don't know. So, I joined Team Red with this PowerColor Fighter RX 6700 XT and I couldn't be happier. I find it's great for all around gaming. I can play modern titles like Starfield and Robocop: Rogue City with very few issues. (maybe a slight frame rate drop here or there on very high settings in 1440p) And I can play graphics beasts like Cyberpunk 2077 on ultra settings in 1440p. And I can play older titles like Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary and Transformers: War for Cybertron, both of which had issues on that 3060, with no problems whatsoever. The fans on the card keep it cool but they don't get super loud even under heavy load. I noticed this card only has two fans, while some other 6700 XT cards have three, but I haven't noticed any issues. Though, PowerColor also used copper for its heat pipes, where some manufacturers cheap out and use aluminum. All said and done, I'm super happy with the performance of this card, for 1440p gaming on both modern and older titles, especially for the price. This is my first PowerColor card, but I'd buy one of their products again with confidence. ... show more

Fits in CoolerMaster KKN-131-Elite SFF case
Ordered this 2nd one at $50 less than the 1st one purchased 3 weeks earlier. Instead of just refunding the difference, I had to pull the 1st one from my PC, pack it up, and send it back to Amazon so I could get a full refund. This card works very well with the Ryzen 9 5900X CPU and actually runs 10 degC cooler than the 1st one. So it was serendipitous that I had to send the 1st one back to get this one. This 2nd card has not gone over 66 degC while playing Halo Infinite vs the 1st one which ran at 76 degC consistently. Second card also stays below 32 degC while doing everything else but gaming. Therefore, if you get thus card, run MSI Afterburner and RivaTuner to monitor temperatures. If it hits 80 degC, you should return it and chance getting a better one. Or if you feel adventurous, you could take off the fans and heatsink and replace the thermal compound with a better performing compound. For gaming, this card's FPS is limited only by my monitor's 144 Hz refresh rate, but I manually limited the FPS to 120 FPS max @ 1440p. I also turned down most of my in-game settings to Medium and kept the important ones on High. It's a good card and a great value. ... show more

Constant crashing & black outs
I bought this to pair with an intel i5 10600k on a z490 motherboard started working wonders for about 10 seconds per game session and it crashes, I’ve reset it and it crashes. It won’t stay running for any reason could not reset windows with it installed would loose signals and cause my system to crash. Ultimately had it put on another system and produced the same problem. Thankfully Amazon was able to exchange it I will update if new hardware runs better than previous one……………. (Update) The 6700xt runs quiet and gameplay is smooth I would recommend this card for anyone interested in a 1080p gaming experience with streaming capabilities. I also recommend buying from the Amazon Warehouse open box deals the customer service is outstanding. ... show more
