I've always loved the Pyrex brand and this one did not disappoint. I love the design and the strong glass which makes them super easy to store or heat up meals. The top closes and seals shut on all four sides and keeps even liquid safely inside without ever any leaks. Because the containers are glass they are easy to clean and does not stain. So far I haven't had any issues and hope they hold up for years to come. I love the versatility and functionality of these containers and will certainly be purchasing more. This is a perfect set of lidded, glass containers. These are made of thick glass, but are not too heavy either. Truly airtight and well made.I can put half an avocado in a samll one and it looks perfect two days later. The only ding I have is that the hinge is a little thin, but I am careful and have no issues with them at all. Easy to open and close. 100% leakproof. I have frozen countless things in them with zero frost or freezer burn.I love that I can use a dry erase marker and write on the lid the date and what is inside. I have switched over most plastic containers to ALL PYREX GLASS containers. I have 4 and 8 cup size. The Pyrex locking lids are easy snap on/off , airtight and leakproof. I use them for sandwich lunches, leftovers hot or cold , pieces of Fruit and Vegetables . Another great use for my family of 3 making a pie in 4 cup size. Pyrex is always the best glass cookware to go with. Some other brands I have found can easily shatter with mild to moderate temperature fluctuations. I have never had Pyrex do that. The lids for these snap on tightly and flip them upside down or drop them in a lunch sack and they do NOT leak and are ready to throw into the microwave when lunchtime arrives.
