The frame is completely sturdy. No wobbling, no swaying and positively secure. As these things go, the frame was a little bit easier than most of these projects and that they do have each part individually labeled for easy matching. One reviewer mentioned waiting till the end before tightening everything down, the manual also says so and I would say that that’s some kind of a lifesaver. I would’ve gone crazy if the thing had been tightened up. All hardware is included, Allen wrench, mini crescent wrench, as well as all necessary bolts and caps. I am a senior living in a assisted living facility. Top to bottom it took me just over an hour to assemble. I suspect you’re on time will be even shorter as I don’t move quite as fast as I used to. Do I think it’s great? I do. The only thing that I will mildly grumble about is the so-called plastic mattress restrainers. They’re not screwed down they’re plastic and they are just supposed to pop on. I really don’t think my twin XL is any wider than anybody else else’s but I found those little plastic retainers to be completely useless. I could shift the mattress to one side. The other side would pop off. I shipped the mattress the other way the other one would pop off. I moved the mattress up that one would pop off. You get the idea. Nice clips which actually clamp on without screws or bolts run about $15 on Amazon, which I’d say is a worthy replacement. Overall, though, this is great and i am way pleased. Buy with confidence.

After a few trials and tribulations getting this bed frame, first with the original order and a subsequent replacement, my wife and I are very happy with the product. It was pretty easy to assemble, I did the work myself, the instructions were clear, and the replacement had all the pieces and parts. My only complaint is how this was packaged, I received a heavily damaged box with the initial order. The box and items within are quite heavy, in excess of 40 pounds. The initial frame was delivered to my post office in terrible condition. The box had blown open at some point in transit, was heavily taped on one end, and every single zip tie used to hold items together was broken inside the box, so many of the metal frame pieces were free to move around inside. Two critical pieces were missing, one was badly damaged, etc. etc. I contacted Amazon Customer Service who issued a replacement, which arrived about a week later and was in overall good condition. Some of the zip ties had blown out inside that box, but all pieces were there and nothing was damaged. The return process is a bit clunky through Amazon but I got through it, the customer service reps were very understanding and helpful, but it cost me a bit of time to get everything straightened out. I'm waiting for a product return pickup email as I write this. At least I can sleep more comfortably on the new frame, which definitely satisfies my expectations! It's sturdy and offers virtually zero movement when the two of us are on the bed. I also enjoy the storage area it offers under the bed frame, very functional, simple in design, but robust and sturdy! Would definitely recommend. Note to product manufacturer - please beef up the shipping packaging with more ballast inside, whatever it takes, so the items stay secure in transit. Thanks!

This seems like a pretty sturdy frame, especially for the price. I ordered two that seemed very similar… This one came first so I put it together. Fair warning; upon opening the box, you will immediately see many more parts than you expected. I am a pretty handy person, and I immediately had the feeling that I was in over my head. in reality, I think it took me about an hour to put together, so it wasn’t as bad as I thought… But, it was enough that I felt like there was no turning back and I was not going to be able to get all the parts back into the box, Or have the wherewithal to take it back apart if I decided to send it back. one thing to note; the long side rails come in two pieces… I did not love that. If the other similar product, which was a little more money, had come first I would’ve kept that one instead. On that one, the side rails were one piece. Also, there are these little plastic tabs that you add onto hold the Mattress in place… They don’t really go high and they have snapped off easily so I’m not sure if they’re gonna stay in olace after I have the mattress on. The one thing that I did not love and why I gave it three stars instead of five or even four is that I didn’t realize until it was all done that the bedframe was not gonna be able to flush against the wall… There is a 3 to 4 inch gap, and so if you want to sit on the bed with your back against the wall, it does’t work so well. I have two Legget and Platt steel king bedframes that I bought here on Amazon and their legs are inset, as are most bed frame legs for exactly this reason.
