  • Great value
I purchased Power stop for my front brakes and they are lasting great, low brake dust and no squeaks. Stopping power is great considering price. All replacement parts were included, even rubber adjuster/inspection hole plugs! There were some extra parts in the hardware bags which might confuse some. If you haven’t replaced your rear brakes(drums) make sure to replace one at a time so you can reference the other side. Or you could take a picture before disassembling. I only gave 3 stars on easy to install because replacing rear drum brakes isn’t “easy” for most people. ... show more

  • Not as daunting as it seemed, perfect fit for my 1993 jeep YJ
I watched some videos on how to do this (look up chrisfix on youtube for great tutorials) and was able to do this in an afternoon on my jeep YJ. The kit included all the replacement hardware (springs, adjusters, etc.) that I needed except for the wheel cylinder—those are not part of this kit, but I opted to replace those as well since they're cheap. I like that they even included little to-go packets of brake grease for the components that need lubrication. I highly recommend taking pictures of everything after you take the drum off but before you disassemble the rest of the assembly. It was really helpful to have the pictures to refer to as I started putting it all back together. Also I suggest getting a pair of brake spring pliers that have the tool to remove and install the top springs on the handle as well as a tool to compress and twist the shoe retaining springs. The right tools make all the difference here, and they're inexpensive. The only thing I didn't like about this kit was the cable guide that's provided; it was too big and the adjuster cable pressed against the inside of the rear shoe. I ended up reusing the old one after cleaning it off. If I didn't already have one to fall back on, I probably wouldn't be quite so generous in my review. But overall I'm really happy to have quiet rear brakes and to have my parking brake actually work once again! I love that I won't have to worry about this part of my jeep for a while and can focus on other parts of it now. ... show more

  • Works great now but came bent.
Great quality and replaced my completely shot drums. Only issue is they came slightly bent so they had to be aligned after original install. Time consuming and annoying but great quality. Most likely bent from poor storage in the factory. Just be sure to check them before you install.

  • Missing Hardware and Drums Need Machined
This particular package had 3 parts kits. Which turned out to be a blessing because one of the kits was missing some parts for that side. It also did not come with the new springs to retain the shoes (blue) and the large grey springs. I had to re-use the old ones which I was lucky were not rusted enough to re-use. I will also have to remove the drums again and take them to be machined straight, they rub in one spot as if they aren't completely round (probably from being stored on end instead of flat) Overall it seemed like a good deal but get a spare parts kit from a local parts store in case you need it and have the drums machined at a shop before install. This kit fit my 2001 cherokee with 9in drums. ... show more

  • Good value and great all on one kit, just make sure you have an adjustment hole
Everything I needed and went on perfectly. Only issue is my backing plates did not have the adjustment hole as my original drums had the peep hole to adjust through the drums. These drums did not have the hole or even a punch out, I had to mark from my old drums and cut out the necessary adjusting holes. Certainly did not want to put on without a way to adjust the adjuster as I had some in the past where I had to cut the drums off due to the shoes creating a ridge. So make sure you have a hole in your backing plate or make some in these drums to make life easy for you later on. ... show more

  • Everything fit
This kit had everything I needed to replace the rear drum brakes on my wrangler yj. The only parts I reused was the holder plate behind the springs on the top pin, and the flat bar that spanned across to each pad just above the axle. My only complaint I have, is each bag that holds the springs for each side should be labeled passenger/right and drivers/ left. Because the adjuster, adjuster plate, and adjuster plate spring are different for each side. Learned that the hard way when it didn't fit/operate correctly. ... show more

  • Perfect fit for 1993 Jeep Wrangler
Just what I needed. Needed new brakes on the rear of my old Jeep. Great price. Fit like they were made for my vehicle. No problems, no issues. Couldn't have asked for better. Now, let's see how they wear.
