My son inherited a 1999 XJ classic from his grandparents but it needed some work before being road worthy as it had a seized caliper. This is a complete front disc brake kit and made for a great learning experience for him as well being his first brake job. - This kit was easy to install. - Included lube. - Included new pins with the calipers. - Included copper crush washers for the brake lines. Braking power is good, doesn’t have any squeaks or noise, and was overall straight forward. Calipers were the same color as others noted having different colored ones. * only thing to note was the drivers side bleeder was marked as if it was a left hand thread with hashes on the nut, when it was actually a normal bleeder screw. Still money well spent and a great afternoon teaching my son how to maintain his own rig. ... show more

Did my 91 XJ rear drum brakes using Power Stop with excellent results, and the same for the front disc brakes too. The installation was easy and quick and the parts are very high quality as well. They come with caliper bolts and banjo washers. And the best complement I got was from my Daughter when she walked by just before I put the tires back on and she said, Wow they look so shiny! The I have done more brake jobs than I can count. The Powerstop kit, in my opinion, delivers the best value for the money. Their products always fit like OEM and preform better than standard equipment. I don't even bother with looking at anything else because I count on their product to deliver.

I would rate higher but there are a couple issues I was not very happy about. First is on one of the inner pads the shim/holder that mates to the caliper came off. So I had to peen it back one. Second is the calipers did not match. Not a huge deal but when details like this start stacking up it makes you question the quality of the rest of it. I use Power Stop for all my vehicles (5 in my fleet) and this is the first time I have ever had an issue. So I had to deduct a star. This set was for my 98 Jeep XJ. ... show more

1997 cherokee sport. Kit replaced everything up front all oem equivalent. Rotors, pads, looked to be reman calipers but matching easy install. Bled system and followed the aggressive break in procedure. Jeep stops beautifully and even now no more premature lockups on the front or a rock hard pedal.

    • Incomplete kit
The listing shows a “complete kit” but the caliper brackets were not included. Now I have to spend extra time and money to free up the old caliper pins and dress up the old brackets to match the new calipers. Very disappointed.
