The egg crate foam does not rebound or rebounds slowly after unpacking. How can I fix it? This is common in cooler temperatures. For faster rebound, please place the foam in a warm, ventilated area to fully expand before inserting it into the cover. This allows the foam to expand fully, ensuring a proper fit with the cover. The foam is uneven or arched. What should I do? Gently fold the foam in the opposite direction of the arch and press firmly several times. This helps release internal stress and allows the foam to reshape naturally. For best results, allow it to fully expand in a warm, ventilated space before use. The cover tends to collect pet hair and is difficult to clean due to static. Any suggestions? To maintain the cover, we recommend using a lint roller or pet hair remover to remove hair and debris before washing. This reduces static buildup and keeps the cover fresh. For washing, please avoid high heat to preserve fabric quality. Is this dog bed chew-resistant? No, this dog bed is not chew-resistant. To ensure your pet's safety and product durability, we recommend selecting a pad specifically made with durable, chew-resistant materials if your dog tends to chew on bedding. Such a compact box, and so lightweight! It decompressed into a really fine crate bed which fits one of my three two-door Midwest 30x20" crates. All three of the dogs tried it out and approve the choice. I live with two Cairn terriers, male and female, and one older dachshund girl, who raised the other two for me. The crates are their safety and comfort spots, not a place for punishment at all. They like a pillow too, so soft toys are always there....and sometimes a blanket for some cover. However, the eggcrate foam is the important thing to give support and a little ventilation from body heat. Much of our year is hot here in south Alabama, and I expect this crate bed will provide the perfect amount of comfort without too much of a body heat problem. My dogs sleep in their crates every night, and go there any time they wish. Also, the crate provides some comfort from the stress of stormy weather. The crate bed was easy to unpack, then easy to fit the foam mattress inside the welted cover, which had a zipper that opens up two entire sides of the cover. It fit the 30x20 Midwest two-door crate very well. This is my first purchase of this brand, so I cannot estimate its life expectancy. However, it is well made, of good materials, and I have high hopes for it enduring at least two years.

My dog loves it - soft, durable, waterproof and easy to clean - really could not ask for more. Color matched the color noted, top half is fuzzy and cozy, bottom half is waterproof and durable. My girls jumped on it right out of the packaging. I love that it has a zipper closure so easy to clean - I would not put it in the dryer for fear that it might shrink and be hard to put back on. Other than that, no concerns. Great dog bed.

Ok, I am a try before you buy type of person and want to make sure it works. So, I purchased for my fur baby and I definitely tried it out before I gave to my fur baby. The quality is good, one I opened the package it did take about 24 hours to fully get to its full size. The fabric is interesting, thicker fabric on the bottom and a type of fleece on the top that does make a good quality product. I didn’t notice any odd or weird smell from the fabric or the foam material. It was easy to assemble, looks exactly as it was pictured and was definitely the size I ordered. There was/is enough room for my fur baby to lay on it and it is definitely warm! I tested it the second and theirs nights to make sure it would be warm enough for my fur baby! Great product.

Very Good Dog Bed

We needed some additional dog beds while we boarded our dogs for travel. This one has a removable cover with a non-skid bottom and a soft plush top. The inside foam is a medium dense egg crates style foam padding. It’s not as firm as I expected but that’s OK it still works nonetheless. We have a 50 pound dog and an 80 pound dog and I got a large and an extra large. I almost should’ve gotten two extra large Just because of the size and they could stretch out a little better. So if you have something like a wheaten, poodle, a Portuguese water dog, you may want to go with the extra-large even if they’re 50 pounds and under. Love the choices of color. We got the dark gray. Easy to remove the cover which was important for us would buy again. We have a one-year-old dog and a 13 year old dog and it seems suitable for both.

Great bed for inside a dog crate

My dog loves this bed. It fits well in his crate. I like the thickness and he seems really cozy sleeping on it. My favorite feature is that the cover can be removed and thrown in the wash for cleaning. It is warm and fluffy and soft. The foam inside holds its form even with many months of use. It is easy to fit in the crate, but the crate cannot be collapsed for transport with the bed inside, like it may be able to with a thinner bed. My dog did have an accident in the crate at one point, and the foam inside the bed was ruined. The foam is impossible to clean. However! I did come back and purchase a second bed because I otherwise like it so much. 5 stars overall.

I bought this is a gift for my son and daughter-in-law’s cat. I heard them talking about her needing a new soft bed for their cat to lounge around on. As soon as they took it out of the box, she went straight to it and laid down on the outer soft shell. They had to pick her up so that they were able to put the soft cushion inside the outer shell. When they put her down, she went right back and lay down on them mat again. She it!!! It’s very well-made, durable, soft with a nice thick cushion. The outer shell can be removed and washed I was so impressed with it that I went and purchased another one (a size up) for my dog.

Good Crate Bed for Gentle Dogs

This is a great crate bed for small dogs, but it may not be the best option for pups who like to scratch or are rough on their beds. I purchased two—one has held up really well for my gentle dog, but the other was damaged quickly from light scratching. I recommend adding an inner waterproof liner to protect the cushion from accidents and help keep it smelling fresh, since the inner padding isn’t machine washable. The outer cover does come off easily and washes well—I clean ours weekly and it's held up nicely in the washing machine. Overall, a good option for calm dogs with some simple upgrades!
