I was able to install these myself period. The front rotor is much bigger than the back, same with the pads. They have worked well for the last six months. I did have to readjust one of them after installing they were the best value that I could find online.

Changed the brakes/rotors in two Subaru Foresters in 4 hours (I'm 60), saving almost $2,000 vs what the dealer quoted me. Plus he wasn't offering drilled, slotted rotors.

    • Could Have Burned $350 In Cash And Had More Fun!
Ordered in May 2024, installed June 2024. In December 2024 the front brakes started chattering and it progressively got worse. I have jacked the car up, removed the wheels and calipers and re-seated the pads on multiple occasions, but they keep geetintg unseated from the clips. When that did not work I purchased Wagner OEx pads and replaced the pads - a $60 purchase. That does not seem to have done the trick and I will now be replacing the rotors as one or both may be warped - this will be another $240 purchase. So I will soon have now replaced $300 worth of pars on a $350 kit with only 6 months of use. Not at all economical and definitely not fun tearing down the front end 4X to chase issues. ... show more

Put these on my 2015 forrester 2.5 touring. Everything came together really well. 3 items to note - Front pads were really tight. So much so, that I almost thought I wasn't going to be able to get them on. - Front rotors were both labeled front passenger side. I did have 1 of each however I didnt realize I put the first one on wrong until I went to put the second one on. - Wish there was more caliper grease. Spend $5 and buy extra for yourself. Otherwise, they look great, work great. Jury is out on how long they'll last. ... show more

This brake set seems like high quality parts. All the hardware was included and everything installed easily. I would like a bigger packet of brake grease, but that issue can be solved for $4 at the auto parts store. Definitely recommend!

I put these on my 2015 Subaru Forester and absolutely love them! I live in a metro area with 6+ million people and frequently find myself slamming on the brakes when the people ahead of me aren’t paying attention or switch lanes without signaling. The stopping power on these brakes are awesome and I highly recommend them! (in fact, I put the Z26 brakes on my last Subaru as well.) ... show more
