  • Great Product!!!
Very Nice! And fit perfectly on my 2003 Honda Element. Great packaging in perfect condition. I’ve been doing brakes for 35 years and found this kit to be well put together with all necessary hardware. Rotors were clearly labeled drivers an passenger side. All components are well made. Significant upgrade from OEM. I did not notice any additional noise. I found them to be extremely smooth and changed the feel of the vehicle completely when stopping. For the first day or two I had to press a little bit harder on the pedal before everything wore in. After a very short break in period they stop amazing. Zero squeaking no squealing smooth powerful and quiet. Follow the directions including the break-in and be sure to apply the supplied grease where they tell you to. Installation took about 45 min per side. I would recommend ordering an impact driver if you don’t own one so that you can easily remove the 2 screws that hold on each rotor. (It’s $10 - just get it) I would buy this again and I will be purchasing a similar kit from the same company for our Subaru Outback and F250. ... show more

  • Cross Drilled/Slotted Brakes a MUST!
I do a lot of highway driving which usually means braking from higher speeds to dead stops do to accidents, construction and other highway delays. My original 2003 Honda accord brakes which were replaced from the dealer but and a few hard stops on the turnpike killed them they were never the same. I believe they warped from the heat. I noticed they were good for under 45 mph stops but anything above that speed there were absolutely terrible and dangerous to make a complete stop with. I decided it was time for an upgrade and I did some researching online and decided to put these Power Stop heavy duty performance brakes on my car as a replacement for the stock junky Honda brakes. What a difference, I have already had to put them to the test a number of times on the turnpike and they stop on a dime with no hesitation. With these pads and rotors you know you can stop even from highway speeds to 0 without any issues. The brakes are nicely plated and still appear like new to look at. I would recommend these brakes to anyone that needs something better then stock. The rotors are packed separately with labels for left front and right front so you do not have to guess which is which and you will know that you got the correct parts. I have had brakes in the past where they would mistakenly give you two of the same side. Shipping was prompt and the install was easy photo installation instructions are also included which is always a plus to have on hand. Overall a great product and quality. ... show more

  • I am in love!
They say 'happy wife happy life'. Man, my life got happier now!). My wife can't be happier with the smoothness of the brakes, these perform like a champ now! Even I, who normally drive a truck, love driving her civic now because of the way how smooth and nice the brake now perform! I really love this set so much, that I just purchased a second set just to have it for the future. The dismounting of old rotors was a bit of a hassle because of the rust of old screws, but they gave up when a torch was used. Installation itself was a bliss, perfect alignment of components. Did also apply the grease provided with the package so the next time I replace them I won't need to beg that torch and hammer to help me. Highly recommend, great deal for the reasonable price ... show more

  • Great for smaller cars
I have used this brand on a Honda Accord, a civic, and an F150. The kits worked great on the small cars, but warped within a year on the F150.

  • Rotors still like new after 5 years
09/02/2023: I bought these to improve the braking on my 2002 CR-V before my son took it for college and then work out of state. I did the front and rear. After 5 years now they still look like new. I did replace the brake pads with Bosch ones as the ones sent with this set wore down, but about as I expected. The look and performance are what I hoped for. Just a word of caution. The rotors do generate a ticking noise when you are driving. Sounds a bit like playing card in a bicycle spoke. Took me a while to figure it out but it is caused by the air going over the slots as you drive. Nothing mechanical, but can be annoying for some. It’s a feature of these kinds of rotors so be ready for that. ... show more

  • Don't last
The installation went fine (for the most part). Unfortunately even after following the break-in instructions to the letter I ended up with a slight vibration that has gotten progressively worse. It's now 14 months after initial installation and I'm going to have to replace these even though they're still in very good visible condition. I'd estimate that they're less than 25% worn at the pads and the rotors appear to be fine but the front end vibration is no longer tolerable. The first type of vibration feels like rotor warpage or runout. The other is what I'd best describe as a buzzing under braking. I can only assume it's due to the slots/holes as it's a very rhythmic vibration. I've driven a lot of cars and trucks with drilled/slotted rotors and never experienced this sort of noise/vibration. For what it's worth, they do brake like a beast which was a significant improvement for my 4runner. But before the front end vibrates apart I'm going to have to get this thing torn apart and put new pads/rotors on it. I did replace the calipers and all hardware when these pads/rotors were installed just to be clear. ... show more

  • They sent me two left rotors
I bought these to have a friend's cousin install them to try to save a little money versus a shop. The worked just fine for the first 18 months and then I started getting a pulsing sensation after the car warmed up. It got worse to the point that I took it in to see what might be wrong with my front suspension on my old CRV. I was a bit shocked when the mechanic told me that two left rotors had been installed. Slotted brakes need to have a left and right. I wasn't aware of that and looks like the person who put them in didn't either. I just spent $490 for new rotors, pads, and a caliper after less than two years. Obviously I'm partially to blame because I didn't use a normal shop but I am very disappointed in the quality control of these. Check your rotors when you get them to make sure the person boxing them was paying attention. ... show more
