This fits perfectly in SimpliSafe Gen 2 cameras. I was tired of charging batteries in the cameras and was even considering buying different powered cameras. The UYODM cable worked great and even came with little cable clamps to conceal the cable against the wall . For my use, I would have liked a few additional length options other than 25ft and 16.5ft but I am just happy I no longer have to charge the camera batteries.

Bought this to hardwire my SimpliSafe outdoor camera. The original 2 batteries ($30.00 each) were needing to be swapped out every three days after two years. I was going to buy two new batteries when I saw this cord and charger. Took me about an hour to route and tack down the cord (I'm pretty particular about stuff like this). Working perfectly so far, about a month. Skip the batteries from the start, do your installation with a cable and charger like this one.

I have a battery operated outdoor camera that needed the battery charged every few weeks. Now with a wired connection, the battery stays charged. Even with a power outage, the full battery keeps working until power is restored. Best part is I don't have to keep charging the battery inside the outdoor camera every few weeks. This outlet wire connection connects to my nearest outlet in my garage to power the battery constantly. I am happy that I made my outdoor wireless camera wired. It's a much better option than going wireless.
