Bought this to hardwire my SimpliSafe outdoor camera. The original 2 batteries ($30.00 each) were needing to be swapped out every three days after two years. I was going to buy two new batteries when I saw this cord and charger. Took me about an hour to route and tack down the cord (I'm pretty particular about stuff like this). Working perfectly so far, about a month. Skip the batteries from the start, do your installation with a cable and charger like this one.

This is so much better than recharging these all the time. I had an electrician run wire and outlet in the attic for my cameras. No ladder to recharge and adjust. Very happy.

I bought this because I hate taking off my wireless camera to charge the battery every month. ITS TOO HIGH UP. I installed this and I haven't touched my camera for months. Nice plug and also comes with parts to secure the wire to the house. Its been working flawless. And much less cost than the name brand wire and plug.

Very easy to setup, phone app walks you through it all. Added many more parts to the Simplisafe family (doorbell, another indoor and outdoor camera, solar panel charger for the external camera, smoke/co detectors). Called support for a quick question and while not US based, they were quick to answer and helpful.
