My buddy has this amp and that’s why I got it. I love how it has two power and two ground terminals. It’s a very powerful amp so make sure you have all good 100% copper power and ground wires. Ground it to the frame and you won’t ever have a grounding issue. I have them hooked up to 2 nemesis 12 inch subs both 1350 rms. I’m not expecting this amp to really give 8000 watts but it sure does feel like it sometimes. It doesn’t get hott like most amps do. That’s one main reason why I love this amp so much. It has overheated once with me. But on the contrary it’s 100 degree weather in Texas and I was playing it non stop hard for half an hour. It has plenty of fuses too that work like your insurance. It’s a good amp for the price. We call it a sleeper one. I’ve purchaced amps that were 2x as much as this one from more popular brands and this does the same job. ... show more

My best AMP I ever installed. I decided to upgrade to this 4000W Amp because my last AMP would shut off from overheating. This AMP never ever got above 85 degrees. Getting a 2nd battery for this monster is a must. Huge difference between running off your car battery or giving this AMP its own seperate battery. They have car AMP batteries on Amazon that cost $80 - $200. Besides you dont want everything running off your car battery, you will shorten the life of your car battery and mess up your Alternator. The bass hit so hard that I can only turn it halfway up before the bass start putting pressure on my chest making it hard to breath. The rear mirror shakes all over the place. Right now I have only 2 Power Acoustik 12s rated 1200rms each. Total of 2400rms. At 1ohm this 4000W monster can push 2700rms at 2ohms. Also have a Rockford Fosgate 4 channel 500W Amp that is pushing the Alpine door speakers and JBL 6x9s. Its just enough to hear the mids and highs without being overpowered by the bass. Purchasing a preamp that controls Treble and Bass independently is a must for those Audiophiles. Can't go wrong with the Clarion EQS755 Preamp. Remember, get a additional battery for your AMP or it will sound like crap. ... show more

The amp arrived and I installed it, it did not work. It was a dud. I had a little hassle to return it & get my money returned. Now I purchased another amp from somewhere else & it works just fine. Their amp was just faulty.

    • good amp,not 8000 watts but a powerful amp
so far so good.I have in hooked up to dual 15 in cervin vega subs.It went into protection mode once,other than that good buy for the price.Although the price has went up almost 100 dollars since i purchased mine.

Read a lot of negative reviews on this amp but it is plenty powerful... People said they had a problem with it getting hot... Im running it on 0 gauge wire and have no problems ..def is a beast . people that leave negative reviews probably shouldn't even be buying the product they have no idea what they are doing.. 5 stars all the way ... show more

Ok first things first let's be honest this amp isn't 8000 watts but it is definitely putting in work I have it wired to 2 mofo124x wired to 1ohm and let me tell you it is a beast this thing slams my subs it had tools in my garage shaking off the walls I ran 0ga all the way to a distributor block and 2 6in pieces of 4ga to the amp 2 4ga grounds 10in long. I have a yellow top just for this amp alone did the big3 and no dimming at all this B.A.M.F is very nice for the price if you're scared don't be you will be happy you got it. If you do buy this amp make sure to upgrade your wiring and get a very good 2nd battery (i have 3 yellow tops and a red top for my truck) . Again not 8000 watts but a VERY POWERFUL AWESOME AMP EXTREMELY AWESOME. ... show more

    • Almost good?
I currently have the 3000 in the bamf and it is a pretty strong amp so I purchased the 8000 with big hopes. Had to return it because it didn't work. Wouldn't go into protect mode or anything. I gave it 2 stars because i THINK it would have been pretty strong.
