I love this carafe. I bought two of them recently to brew my morning cup of coffee since my husband has had to switch to decaf coffee and the lovely but pricey Chemex carafe that we have had for years is now used for his decaf. Since he drinks a lot of coffee every day (warning: too much caffeine is not good for one's heart, especially as you get older). I still drink fully caffeinated coffee -- one large mug (roughly 16 ounces), so this carafe works perfectly for my morning brew. It would easily accommodate two mugs of a smaller size, however. I also bought the gooseneck carafe which is a little larger than this one and quite elegant looking. I found the gooseneck one a little harder to clean, however, so this is my go-to carafe every morning. The supplied filter sits perfectly on the top. I add somewhere between 3 and 4 tablespoons of coffee to the filter and then pour the heated water over it. It filters quite fast, and the coffee is ready within a few minutes. The carafe keeps the coffee warm enough for some time. The filter cleans up easily. I throw it into the dishwasher about once a week. But I handwash the carafe. It is easily cleaned since the top of the carafe is wide and you can get a sponge-holding hand down inside it if need be. Usually, a couple of swishes of hot tap water will do the trick of cleaning it up. It is dishwasher-safe, though. The gooseneck type is a little harder to clean due to it being a gooseneck. Despite the labeling of unbreakable -- this carafe is NOT unbreakable. All glass breaks if dropped onto a hard surface. Borosilicate glass is stronger than a lot of other types of glassware but again, it is not unbreakable. I don't understand why they add that to its description. It's not true. It's tough--but it will break if abused! I guess people are so used to using plastic that selling a glass product needs some extra hype. It shouldn't be that way. These glass carafes with either a paper or steel filter make a far better-tasting cup of coffee than anything you will get from a hard-plastic coffee maker. Pour-over coffee is a superb method of brewing, creating a rich full-bodied, and far tastier cup of coffee. The difference between this brewing method and the standard drip method of automatic coffee makers is incomparable. Pour-over brewing is vastly better. Yes, it requires a little more hands-on time, but it is well worth it. This glass carafe, and other similar ones, are a great buy. Easy to use. Makes a great cup(s) of coffee! Enjoy!

The media could not be loaded. I had this in my cart for a while and finally decided to get it for prime day, so glad I did! It is a bit smaller than expected but still works great! I really wanted to reduce the amount of waste we were creating with our keurig and this definitely did the trick. I absolutely love the reusable filter, I had zero coffee grounds in my coffee. This will probably produce about 3 regular size cups of coffee, the one I have pictured is my largest cup (about 16oz). It did not come with instructions but it is pretty straight forward. The glass is thick and I'm not worried about breaking it! I poured boiling hot water over the grounds and no problems at all. My favorite feature is the adorable spout, this is the only pour over coffee maker I could find with this feature! The flavor of the coffee is also great, definitely preferred over my keurig pods. Overall very satisfied!

Just got this a couple of weeks ago. Seems a bit flimsy but I have made multiple pots of coffee with it. The filter works great. No grounds passing through the filter. It’s small but still can make 1 liter of coffee. You have to be careful handling this . Hopefully it lasts long enough for the $$ paid for it

I must say out of the gate, that this is a delightful product that does everything they say it does. The material quality and workmanship are excellent. Not only attractive and stylish, the design makes coffee brewing simple and convenient. When we break this, we’ll buy a replacement—the product is that good. But beware of the clever “Bait and Switch” marketing. “Unbreakable” is the BRAND NAME, not the durability rating of the glass! Nonetheless, if you examine this glass vessel by holding it up to the light and revolving it, you will see an almost perfect refraction of light with no waviness or inclusions. Likewise the printed measurements are molded into the glass. Add to that, the pouring spout is molded with a no-drip tip (which works!). The same pitcher is offered by other companies at higher pricing, so I’m guessing this product will be on the market for some time. It would make an excellent gift because of its thermal versatility- ie: from coffee to iced tea in 60 seconds (figuratively speaking). For the record, borosilicate is the same glass that laboratory test tubes and original Pyrex were made of. I don’t like the spin this seller put on the term ‘unbreakable’, but I have no doubts about the quality of the product. (Yes, I’m an industrial design engineer of food processing equipment, and NO, I’m not affiliated with this supplier or Amazon.)
